Unpackaged and got ready to go fishing on a boat, got the extra accessories kit.. so far a nice product, quality seems very good so far. Tested it and works well, app connect well .. so far very pleased !Got the Sandisk memory, had to push it in with a pencil..

This a great value. Being new to action style cameras, this is a great jumping off point. I tend to be hard on gear however, this has a solid protective housing for underwater use that I will use to protect the camera from me. I haven’t listened to the audio much, what I have heard hasn’t impressed me, but that’s not what I have purchased this for. I will replace all audio in important projects. It’s easy enough to capture the audio on a superior device and sync it Final Cut. This little thing shoots decent footage, there is some distortion on the sides but that’s expected with the wide angle lens which is fine for my purposes and it ships with a ton of mounting gadgets to get you started. Helmet mount, clip, cold shoe mount etc. you can’t beat the current price.

Perfect for my son to record himself riding around his dirtbike.

Update: Customer support reached out and provided instructions for how to download files to my PC. Great support, very responsive. I'm a fan now.Its a great camera with the one small flaw that it's almost impossible to transfer the files off the micro sd card. The camera has wifi but you can only transfer one picture at a time instead of in batch and there's no option for connecting the camera via cable to a laptop or phone for file transfer.

I compared this camera to more expensive ones and decided to give it a try. I took it to Sedona for my second weekend of learning to mountain bike and found the battery life to bed very long, around 2 hours per battery. The second battery inside a case was just what I needed to carry it on the bike. The recording is extremely high quality. I used a chest mount purchased separately for it and found that I needed to put the image upside down and rotate the camera up quite a bit to get the trail in the right place in the picture. I purchased a 256 GB card and it easily handled 3 days of 2-3 rides each day of 2 hours or so. Highly recommend this camera!

A purchase for the husband. He loves it! Hinting he wants another 😂 I read the reviews and watched a lot of videos and it has met the needs of what we needed it for. The price is great! Quality is excellent. Easy connectivity.

I first bought a Brave 7 LE. No audio at all. I found out that this is a known issue. I contacted their customer support, and they are "looking into it". I will be returning it. I then bought a Brave 4 Pro. It seems to take nice videos, but the audio is very low and almost impossible to hear. I tried to turn on the wi-fi and had to contact their customer service chat line to figure it out. The directions in the manual were not clear and they had to give me a work around. Finally got wi-fi to turn on, but it is locked on the wi-fi screen. When I hit the X to leave that screen, it turns off the wi-fi! When I did get it to show up on my phone, it said that the internet signal isn't strong enough! What? So I connected it without wi-fi. Seems to work, but it is still locked on the wi-fi screen on the camera and I can make no setting changes. If I hit the OK/Shutter button, the wi-fi turns off. Recordings made while in wi-fi have to be controlled on the camera. At least the audio works on recordings done while connected to the phone, but replay of videos done while NOT connected to the phone have no audio when played back on the phone. This means I will have to take my phone with me and go through this whole process if I want audio on my recordings. I was hoping to be able to make recordings, then view them later on my phone. I can make video recordings and view them later on the phone, but there is no audio! Akaso needs to issue a firmware update to fix these issues. This is very frustrating and I am disappointed with both of these Akaso products. You Tube is littered with complaints about poor or no audio on various Akaso cameras. It was a mistake to purchase an Akaso camera. That is what I get for trying to save money on a camera. It looks like I will have to bite the bullet and buy a more expensive GoPro to get a camera that does what I need it to do.

We did a lot of research to decide which underwater camera to purchase. Settled on this one - due to price and reviews found on the internet. The packing is top notch. Comes with 2 batteries and one 64 gb microcard. Pleasantly surprised by all the accessories quality. Purchased for a cruise to scuba dive. Nice size viewing area for pictures considering the camera size. Charging cord is a decent length. There is an app to use with the camera. Using it soon, will update.
