PAPERFEEL 2 Pack Screen Protector for iPad Pro 11 2022-2018, iPad Air 5/4

This screen protector really levelled up the game for me. I’m just starting to move to year 2 of my A-Levels and using my iPad more, and this makes using it so much more enjoyable. The anti glare (which I tired to show off as much as possible in my photos) really helps when studying in light libraries and coffee shops. The sound it makes when writing is super satisfying, and it just looks so much cleaner. It obviously cannot match the exact feel of paper, but it does a really good job at it! The only reason I would drop a star is the difficulty in applying the screen protector. You don’t get any sort of tabs or clips which would help to put it on, and have to sort of wing it which is never great when it comes to a screen protectors due to the air bubbles. It has a video to help apply it where the person applying uses this clip which allows super easy application, but you (or at least I) didn’t get any such thing in mine, making it slightly more difficult, but don’t let that put you off!

I've been using this screen protector for almost a year now. When i first got it, i messed up the application really bad and had massive air bubbles. I decided to use it for a few weeks anyway before I took it off to apply the second screen protector that came in the box (which is great, cause i needed it lol). Still worked well with air bubbles. Anyway, the screen protector itself is a super nice, not too dense texture - its kind of soft, but still provides enough grip for the pencil to not glide as if its on glass. It's not exactly like paper, more like you're drawing on a wacom tablet (which is a good thing for me, i like it a lot). This WILL eat up your pencil nibs, its an inevitable of using textured screen protectors. It also ever so slightly dulls colour, but i honestly end up not noticing it after a while and I view the same drawings on my monitors on my pc a lot and dont notice a major difference. Unless you need 100% accurate colours, you will have no issues at all. Overall highly recommend, this is the only ipad textured protector ive tried so I can't compare it but i also have had exactly no issues. No scratches or dullness yet, despite using quite a lot. Great for the price too, as you get 2 in the box.

So it basically does what it says it's meant to do - it's a matte screen protector for the iPad, specifically my iPad Pro 12.9 - and it does a great job! Was easy to install with a 2 step process. Virtually no bubbles too. However, 4 stars because while its a great screen protector and provides resistance when drawing with my apple pencil.. Dare I say it feels TOO rough? Almost like it's a step too forward when trying to feel like paper. Not sure if I need time for it to break in or anything but I may just end up getting a normal matte screen protector, not a "paper" feeling one. But otherwise it's a good screen protector. No real rainbow effect with colours, still keeps most of the screen quality. 4/5 from me

Really good quality and price. Made it so much better to use the iPad for note taking and drawing. Prevented glare without compromising on picture quality.

Just so that my abilities are not in question, I have fitted dozens and dozens of screen protectors and never had this type of issue before. I am meticulous in my prep for fitting these and if there is so much as one bubble, it's coming off and getting replaced. I had great hopes for this screen covering as it looked like it would give a good level of friction to the apple pencil for drawing purposes, something lacking with the glass screen of the ipad. I have just bought my daughter a brand-new iPad for her start at secondary school and it's never been touched so the screen is pristine. I followed the instructions to the letter. Not a speck of dust on the iPad screen and the protector was aligned perfectly with the sticky strips. Then you peel the backing off the screen protector ready to apply to the ipad and you can literally hear the static as the backing comes off. This static then attracts every piece of dust in the vicinity and as I carefully applied the protector to the screen I could see several pieces of dust on the sticky surface which stick out like a sore thumb. the surface of the screen protector is actually really nice and would probably be excellent for apple pencil use, it's just a shame I had to pull it off immediately and bin it. I'm sending the other unused one back, as they're absolutely hopeless. The manufacturer needs to impart something to the item to stop static building up as you remove the backing. I did it ultra slowly to try and avoid this, but it didn't help at all. I then peeled the protector off to try and remove the dust, which was obviously going to be futile. I just made it worse. Nobody wants a load of dust particles between their screen protector and the screen, it just looks terrible. So unless you have access to a filtered clean room do not even bother with this.

Really easy to apply and doesn’t affect the use of my iPad at all! Even watching movies has been absolutely fine. I love that’s screen is protected when I’m using my pen. Fit like a glove and feels really nice. The quality is up there. Gives a beautiful Matt finish.

Okay screen protector, fits perfectly. It is better than writing on glass but it's not the best paper feel.

installing it is a pain because of the air bubbles even though the instructions are clear to me, but it could just be because of skill issues 😭 i did manage to put it on and might need a few times to get rid of the annoying bubbles. other than that, they’re perfect! i love how it feels to write my apple phone and the friction makes it better to write than the usual normal screen protector. touch works fine with no issue at all 👍

Ich habe die Folie für mein iPad Air 5 bestellt, weil ich viel mit dem Apple Pencil schreibe und zeichne – und ich muss sagen: Ich bin echt begeistert! Das Schreibgefühl ist wirklich wie auf Papier. Kein rutschiges Glas mehr, sondern ein angenehmer Widerstand, der das Schreiben viel natürlicher macht. Vor allem beim Zeichnen fühlt sich das viel kontrollierter an. Auch die matte Oberfläche ist top – keine störenden Spiegelungen mehr, und Fingerabdrücke sieht man kaum. Das iPad bleibt trotzdem super klar und lesbar. Das Aufbringen der Folie war mit ein bisschen Geduld ziemlich einfach. Alles Nötige war dabei: Reinigungstücher, Staubaufkleber, Anleitung – hat bei mir direkt ohne Blasen geklappt. Ich finde auch gut, dass zwei Folien im Set sind. So hat man gleich eine Ersatzfolie, falls mal was schiefgeht oder sie irgendwann abgenutzt ist. Fazit: Wer viel mit dem Apple Pencil arbeitet und sich ein papierähnliches Gefühl wünscht, macht mit dieser Schutzfolie nichts falsch. Preis-Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall. Würde ich wieder kaufen!

Très bien, le kit d'installation avec l’aide du tuto vidéo, permet d'appliquer le paperfeel sans difficulté et avec zéro bulle. Aspect mat et léger grain, juste ce qu'il faut pour dessiner avec le stylet. Sur d'anciennes tablettes avec d’autres films de protection, j’avais toujours des soucis pour ne pas avoir de bulles, mais là parfait.
