I grew up using effervescent vitamin C, and I've found that effervescent absorbs much faster and better than typical pills or powders.This effervescent formula combines multiple vitamins, the key ones for flu/cold are C, D, and Zinc (backed by research studies). It also contains herbs like echinacea that are also supposed to bolster the immune system.I take one of these as soon as I start to feel a tiny whiff of symptoms, it works really well to nip the illness in the bud. My kid said it upsets his stomach (I've never had an issue with it) so for some you may need to take it with some food.The taste is good, it smells good, and it works really well for those starting to get flu/cold symptoms. I don't know if I or you need vitamins. I don't know if they help you not get sick when flying on airplanes, which are likely the easies place to put a couple of hundred people in a very small space sharing each other's viruses and germs. But this I do know. I enjoy Orangish artificial, calorie free taste of this vitamin drink when the tablet is dissolved in cold water with ice. And I have survived a lot of airplane flights.

I’ve been using Airborne for many years. I travel for work so I’m on an airplane every other week. I drink an Airborne every day I’m out of town and I have yet to get sick from traveling. I don’t use it when I’m home unless I feel like I’m trying to get sick. I’m convinced that taking it when traveling is giving me the boost of vitamins I need. It dissolves quickly, taste great, easy to use and easy to travel with. This keeps me healthy when I travel which is super important to me.

I take a 4 ounce glass of water and tablet to consume my morning vitamins/supplements. I like the berry taste. Orange is good too.

These are great for travel. I usually take one tablet in the morning when I know I’m going to be in crowded areas as an extra boost to the immune system. The taste is ok at best.
