Q: Do you put this on damp or dry hair?

It says to spray onto dry hair. It also states that it provides protection for up to 200 degrees C/392 degrees F and makes hair resistant to breakage when using hot tools. So I guess you'd dry your hair with a hair dryer and use this spray before using any kind of flat iron, etc.

Q: Is this the old formula. Meaning does product come as pictured or in the new plastic packaging

This product now comes in a plastic bottle. Same product, new packaging. Love it!

Q: I noticed at the top this says "straight" - does that mean this isn't the best product if i want to curl my hair?

This is a thermal protector so I would say it would protect the hair if you use a curling iron but if you want to let hair dry naturally for curl it would help with keeping frizz down but your hair will still curl
