Ball-Lock Gas Keg Coupler - 1/4" barb

Warning: This is not the german made CMB product shown in the photo. Do not buy this. It is a horrible quality knock-off. Mine has plastic covering part of the barb, a crooked and glue stained top cap and a crooked valve pin that doesn't engage with its male counterpart. See photos attached.

I have use this several times to make my own soda pop.It works but has a tendency to leak.It is very difficult to put on.

After reading several recommendations I ordered the Ball-Lock Gas Keg Coupler. I had to get a 1/4" to 5/16" hose splicer to connect to my gauge set. It was initially expensive but now that I've used it a few hundred times, it was money well spent. It makes at home carbonation a much simpler task.

Works well but you have to keep it clean or it sticks open or closed. Other than that, its made well and does the job.I use this for home carbonation and it fits perfect on"The Carbonator" adapter and 1/4 inch clear gas hose.
