Quick, easy install! Holds a lot of wreaths!

I was on the verge of sending this back because I couldn’t figure out how to unlatch it. I hope my pictures will help someone else. I used a flathead screw driver to pry open that first “level”, and then it sprung open fairly easily. Once you get that to open the first time, it’s straightforward. Using it to hang wreaths in my garage, and it’s working well.

When close the hanger won't close completely or be flush against the wall. Also if you use better mount screws they will need to be countersink screws. Overall for what it is it'll work for me.

Reviews stated hard to open. Yes, it is hard to open. "Button" not well marked (should be a different color) and instructions not real plan. Recommend looking for piece of metal that might resemble a "button" and is about 8 inches from end, place hanger on firm object or on your legs, firmly press "button" and pay attention to where hinge will flip up. Reviews warn you about the hinge. I had not issues with the hinge flipping up. I finally figured out what part was going to move up and gave it some help with a screw driver. Very sturdy if screwed into stud. I do not recommend using screws that come with hanger. 3 out of 4 broke at the head. I used some screws I had in my tool box and I had no issue with breaking the head off the screw. Great for small locations.

I purchased this rack at least five years ago. It does exactly what I want it to do - holds lots of clothes when I'm doing laundry and then folds flat against the wall and out of the way when not in use. Excellent strong support.

If anyone saw my prior review, I was a bit hasty. I was able to open it, but it took me about an hour to figure it out. You have to press the button and then pull on the lower hinged piece. I haven't put it up yet, as I need a drill. My husbands drills are all unusable. I guess I should get on Amazon and buy him one! Anyway, it seems well build and sturdy. Can't wait to install it.Finally installed the Hanger Jack this weekend, 9/22. I love it. I hung it on the door frame so that I wouldn't have to find a stud or use the toggle bolts. It is near my dryer and it folds down, with one hand, out of the way. I'm thinking about getting another to hang above my dryer to hold empty clothes hangers.

Easy to assemble and convenient for the clothes hanger.

I bought 2 to use in our laundry room to hang clothes as they come out of the washer and dryer and there is plenty of room for a full load. For the weight these units can hold I would recommend securing them to wall studs, not using the supplied anchors. Also, use your own screws as the heads of the supplied screws spun off during installation even though an appropriately sized pilot hole was drilled first, very aggravating. I recommend the manufacturer put a clearance hole in the support brace where the lower screws hits it, just as I did, so when the unit is collapsed it will rest flat against the wall no matter what screws you use.
