The X-Tra Polishing Pool Vacuuming Filter Bag

Had a lot of pollen and fine dust/dirt that my filter would clean out….hooked this up, vacuumed and clean as can be.

So I bought The Slime Bag with very high hopes; to be able to super filtrate my pool water. When I received the product, I examined it closely and noticed that some of the stitchings were already coming apart....and I hadn't even used the bag yet! So quality of construction was immediately disappointing.I get the bag hooked up and wow does it deliver! This bag will collect fine particles of sand. When I emptied the bag into a plastic bucket, I noticed the bottom of the bucket had a half inch of fine sand that the bag collected. My sand filter won't even do that so I was very impressed!After emptying the bag, I realize that this bag is VERY hard to clean. I emptied it, and then use a hose to spray inside, and I just never felt that I was able to get it clean enough. Then it felt that flow though the bag was restricted so that it would fill extremely quick.I then hook up the bag in a manner where it was on the pool steps (held above the water level), and the flow was MUCH better.Ultimately, I think this is a great product that I will continue to use. I knocked off a star for the poor stitching quality.

It gets rid of fine silt and sand in the pool perfectly, which is what I needed it for. I just hook it to the waste pipe and let it sit in the pool (filter set on "waste") for a few hours. I have used it three times so far, washing it in between uses according to the included instructions. I tried to use it for vacuuming, but that decreased the suction power too much - I can't blame the bag entirely for that, though, since a) it was the second time I was using it, so it might not have been perfectly clean and b) I forgot to take the filter basket sock out before hooking the vacuum hose and that might have played a role, too.

Three times bigger than the first one. Does a very good job of cleaning the pool.

Work fine if you know how to use it. Updated videos with different above ground pool styles would be helpful.

I've been buying these Slime Bags for over 8 years and I love them because they do work and keeps my pool sparkling clean and no minute particles in my water whatsoever.

Works great - pain to clean, but still worth it.

I bought this thinking it would be zippered, velcro, or otherwise open. It does not. It may be what you are looking for, but I returned mine as I couldn't envision efficient cleaning of the bag. Company was excellent about the return and I promptly received my money back.
