When the over patches would wear out and start peeling off, they would pull the adhesive for our dexcom as well. With this guard, it is so easy to change the over patch. Do you sell patches, or recommend a certain patch with your product?** A: Any over patch made for the G6 should work well I use skin grip the work great and have many color choices. **Q: Do these prevent compression lows?** A: Personally I haven’t had issues with compression when device is applied and is secure . I wear my dexcom on the back of upper arm and alternate every 10 days. I’m a big man and sleep on my sides if that helps **Q: I tend to knock my sensor off at work or my baby kicks it when hes napping.... Will this keep that from happening?** A: Yes, it is very helpful for that reason. My husband was playing with the dogs or doing laundry and the sensor would come off to easily. I am a type 1 diabetic that has been buying tegaderm for about 14 years for my g6. I found this product and decided to give it a go. The one thing I saw most with complaints in the reviews is the fact that “you have to buy their stickers” which is understandable since the product changes the diameter of the Dexcom, but that really isn’t the case. When diabetics buy stuff like this it’s for convenience and durability, and I thought outside the bun. Take the sticker they provide and follow the steps in my photo and you will be able to fit absolutely any tegaderm overlay you want. The product is truly helpful in adherence and changeability. Yeah it technically makes it a slight crafting project, but in my opinion it’s well worth it.
