KNEKT KDT KNEKT Trigger handle for HERO3, 3+, 4 and FRAME

I used this on a recent scuba diving trip to Cozumel with a GoPro Hero 4 Silver. I used it on 6 Drift dives. I have used a Wrist mount for the GoPro in the past. I am able to shoot video that is way more stable with the KNEKT KDT than with the Wrist strap i used before. The build quality is very sturdy and heavy. Things can get bumped and banged around on a dive boat so the sturdy construction is a plus. I was concerned with the weight of it but it was not an issue at all once scuba diving. The trigger mechanism only requires a light touch with good feedback to activate the shutter button. It's very easy to get the GoPro in and out of it. The grips could not be better they almost stick to your hands!I used it with a Phantom Aquatics Quick Release Coil LanyardOnly Con i can think of - I wish there was another trigger mechanism for the mode button on the front of the GoPro camera.

The trigger arrived quickly. It has some weight to it and feels very sturdy. Attaching the GoPro is really simple, as is the operation of the trigger which is positioned well for both right or left handed people. I also order the KNEKT dome however, I found that when the camera was positioned and everything was setup and attached, it was very difficult to open the latch to the camera. This is important to me because I tend to record until the battery dies. That means I need easy access to change the battery out. With the dome attached to this trigger, it was too cumbersome. Again, there is nothing wrong with the trigger, it feels very well made, it just wasn't for me so I ended up returning the trigger, but keeping the dome.
