All soaps are made with natural ingredients and contain our fir needles, fresh and powdered with added essential and fragrance oils. We use top quality melt and pour soap bases to create our unique soaps made with our custom molds. Each soap is hand poured. All soaps are shrink-wrapped and gift packaged with crinkle in a kraft box with clear top. The Coconut Oil base is our lighter green soap with Shea Butter and Aloe. it contains Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide (saponifying agent), Sorbitol (moisturizer), Sorbitan Oleate (emulsifier) and Soybean Protein (conditioner). Bathing with fir needle soap is an awesome experience. The dark opaque appearance of the bottom layer is created when the fir needle powder is mixed in. It is not "black soap". All our soaps contain our fresh fir needles and dried powder with fir needle essential and fragrance oils. Every batch is slightly different. The face of the soap is the first pour without the fir needles for appearance, appeal, and to give your soap a smooth side. The second pour is packed with fir needle powder for fragrance, fir needle property benefits, and the loofah side. Our soaps are made with bases of saponified oils (sodium hydroxide added to oils to create soapiness) Saponified oil soaps are about as close to natural or organic as you can get. All our soaps contain 15-20% vegetable glycerin. Glycerin is a great humectant (moisturizer) because it attracts moisture from the air to your skin rather than absorbing moisture from your skin and drying it out. That being said, it also attracts moisture to your bar of soap if it is sitting in a continuous humid environment. You will notice that your bar of soap will sparkle with dew. It can actually be quite attractive and is harmless. You are going to wet your soap to use it anyway and the "glycerin dew" is moisture drawn from the air not the soap.Glycerin is absorbing moisture from the air. Like rain...it's just water....enjoy it.
