I had previously used Shirt Stays for 30 plus years to keep my uniform shirt tucked in. I had good results with Shirt Stays, but they had their drawbacks (stretching and breaking). A co-worker told me about the Shirt Lock belt and just how happy he was with his results, so I gave it a try. It works GREAT!! I'm totally satisfied. It keeps my shirt tucked in all day and helps keep my pants up, too. A lot easier to use with better results. I have not had any problems thus far with shirts or pants being frayed.

I spent 20 years in the military using shirt-stays on a very regular basis. Also used them on my dress shirts when needed. I definitely wished I had sought out a product like the Shirt Lock previously. I now wear a shirt and tie everyday, and decided to give this a try after seeing it advertised.I read quite a few bad reviews, so I wasn't sure what to expect. For me, the product works perfectly, and I'm glad I don't have to worry about shirt stays falling off while walking, or as some reviewers pointed out, getting dressed in front of someone and feeling like I'm putting on a garter belt. I'm in pretty good shape (5'9, 175), and wear a 32-33 waist. I'm thinking the folks who have problems with this product may be due to body shape. As far as some people taking 20 minutes to get this to work right, I can only imagine they must have trouble with many routine daily activities. If you're spending more than 2-3 minutes figuring out how it best works for you, then the problem is not the product.

This product is great (it holds my shirts in place well), with the exception that it can get a lot of debris in it if you're not careful, and can also tear away at your dress pants after a while, hence the loss of two stars.

This is almost as good as the stirrups but one would figure this going into the purchase. These are not better than the stirrups, just a great alternative that is why I marked it five stars - based on it as an alternative. It fits fine, the only complaint is the Velcro is dang sticky, better not uses in with silk/polyester shirts!!!

As a state police officer I am required to maintain a clean, tight fitting uniform. The Shirt Lock does the job great keeping my shirt pulled down and firmly in place. At first I was skeptical as I have utilized many variants of shirt stays/belts but I have to say this really works. The belt has small "teeth" on the inside, kind of microfiber teeth that you cannot see. When you fasten it over your shirt, the belt grips onto your shirt and holds it right where you place it. Be warned that it WILL fray your shirt, however the part that is slightly damaged is beneath the belt line (bottom of the shirt). Overall I am very pleased with the Shirt Lock and I'm sure if the one I have now (have had for about 4 months) were to break I'd be ordering another asap. It's become a mandatory part of my uniform and other officers have since ordered them as well after being jealous of how great my uniform looks.

It's just me but I was not impressed with this product. Although it does keep the shirt in place it also snags everything in site. The other problem for me is the fact it is worn snug under your pants and is uncomfortable. I am going to purchase the suspenders and see how they work for me.

I bought this item to use for basketball refereeing. It is very comfortable, and worked great at keeping my shirt it, but it tore the CRAP out of my referee shirt and pants. Why on earth would you make it out of the material you do? I should file a complaint and ask that the company purchase me a new referee shirt! DO NOT BUY this product if you don't want your clothes to be torn up.

it works like it should, it has velcro that attaches it to itself and holds your shirt with it as well. no more coming untucked while bending and stretching. doesn't show and doesn't get in the way.
