As I'm a newbie, I've had to figure out how to work it. I've done so many mistakes that I've had to take the machine apart on several occasions. Mostly just winging it...kinda my background on fixing stuff...aeronautical crap..lol. So not too difficult to figure out. When the thread breaks or gets stuck, it can be a chore to fix. But hey, I'm learning as I go along. The only issue is the threader. It is very delicate and gets out of line with the needle. I've had to surgically try to fix it on a couple of occasions...not for the faint of heart...even for me. You'll need some strong glasses and pretty small pair of needle nose tweezers.
