LMTD Elektra: Sai Letter Opener

I thought this letter opener is going to be cheap and lightweight (maybe even plastic-y), but it actually isn't. The item was well-packaged, and it actually is a well-made replica of the movie version. The steel has got quite some weight to it, with designs actually engraved in it (not painted on), and the handle is wrapped in a thin strip of suede/leather (not sure about the material, but it feels like suede/leather to me, man-made maybe). It's not shoddy workmanship, to my surprise. I have tiny hands, and I do like the feel of it -- feels quite balanced for a miniature sai (and a toy at that). I am definitely going to enjoy opening mail with this for a very long time!

The product is well made and cool but it's not sharp, it's useless as a letter opener

This was much smaller than I had picutred and smaller than most letter openers. The style was as expected but not the size.

Bought this as a gift for a friend, It was nicely built and good quality. The sai is actually very sharply pointed (be careful when opening package, it poked me!)I knocked off a star because it was smaller than I expected, but overall, great little gift for someone who loves Elektra.

Tiny size not useful for letter opener

It's cheap, and it feels surprisingly heavy (ie good quality- not overly weighted). It opens letters perfectly well, and the string on the bottom (the wrap for the handle) hasn't come loose at all. Great value!

They weren't sharp but you can sharpen them your self good price I got two of them I got them so I can put them in my hair with my pony tail people keep saying were I got them the detail on them are very good two I got the full sized real ones from Amazon and they look the same except for some minor Details I would buy again

This was a gift and received great feedback of how nice this opener is. Great detailed design and good quality.
