The Fresh Locker Stainless Steel Coffee Storage Container - The Ultimate Humidity Controlled and Airtight Storage Solution for Coffee (Boveda Pack 32% Sold Separately)

The Fresh Locker for coffee is an all metal storage container for your coffee. You can get it in any color you like, as long as it’s black. It can easily store 12oz, or a standard bag of coffee from your favorite roaster. It has even more room to spare, and could hold about 15oz. of coffee. Its dimensions are 6.25inches wide, and 3.25 inches tall. As for build quality, it appears well made. It’s all metal, so you don’t have to worry about it breaking if it falls off the counter. One thing I wish was better, is the humidor cage. It’s open on one side to facilitate easy loading of the cage but that allows the humidor packet to fall into the coffee. My solution was to wedge the packet into some of the gaps in the cage. As for freshness, I’ve only had it a week, but it fares much better than the bags that coffee come in or the mason jars that I’ve seen people store their coffee in. It’s airtight and blocks light from entering and reacting with coffee. It doesn’t have a one-way valve, but that’s by design. One-way valves can get stuck, allowing air to enter. The humidor packets are a great inclusion, and it helps keep your coffee fresh for longer.

First thing is that is larger than I expected. It will easily hold a pound of beans.I have used many other types of storage containers to hold my beans, and nothing has been up to scratch, so I was eager to give this a try.I purchased a pound of fresh roasted coffee beans, and put 1/2 into the Fresh Locker, and 1/2 into an Airscape container (which has been my mainstay), and left them in the container for a week.I then opened both and made an espresso from each lot. Right upon opening the aroma from the Fresh Locker lot was a lot more powerful than the other (but this could have been down to the greater surface area).After making the espresso using exactly the same grind and amount of beans (with a cleaning between them), I can say that the beans in the Fresh Locker container produced a nice cup than did the beans in the Airscape.I highly recommend these for coffee storage, and only wish that there was a smaller size that I could use when travelling.

I've only just started using them but so far they seem to work well. A few comments though - the latches are a bit painful to unlatch. They close very tightly, which is great, but are a bit sharp edged when you need to unlatch them. I would also suggest to the company that they make these with a blank label space where you could write the date of the coffee, or the type, using chalk or something. Just a thought! Finally, I thought the product description said they didn't come with the humidity packs, but they did come with four. Unfortunately I bought a pack of 10 separately, but I think they'll last long enough to still be good when I finally need them.

Love it. It does exactly what I wanted it to do. You can change the humidity packs out if your not using it for coffee.

It keeps my coffee fresh through the entire canister.

I have been looking for something to store my beans in and came across this product. After using it for about two weeks I think its great! This is my first bean storage container and I must say it works well. I usually use a mason jar for my coffee and I consider this product a big upgrade. The humidity control is something I have not seen with other containers and seems to be doing its job very well. Its airtight, keeps light out, and controls the moisture of the beans. I look forward to see how it holds up over time!

The Fresh Locker uses Boveda humidity control packets to keep your coffee fresher for a longer period of time than other coffee storage products! I've definitely seen a noticeable difference in the quality of my coffee after I've stored it for about 2 weeks. Very simple product that gets the job done.

This was bigger than I expected. I'm using it with the 62% humidity packs. Super easy, with just the right amount of humidity to keep things fresh.
