Great customer service!
The media could not be loaded. I received my printer and put it together. Instructions where kinda confusing but the videos where great.Had problem will printer. The y axis was working backwards and put motor on left side of printer and then Z axis was working backwards or just chattered working the right way.Contacted magicd and they worked with me and we all came to the conclusion the board was program wrong or the board was defective. They sent me a new one and now my printers is working greatIt took a couple of weeks to get the new control board and see we live on opposite sides of the planet, email replies took place around 9 pm or next day. They were very helpful and respectful.Even though I had a problem it was solved and now I have a great printer. The printer is definitely worth the price, great size and great design.

Good Printer - Assembly Instructions Need Some Work
I bought this a week ago and I've been fine tuning it since. I have gotten some decent prints so far.1 gripe is that the heated bed isn't totally flat when hot; it seems to warp up in one corner just enough to be annoying. This makes leveling the bed for a large print very difficult. The assembly instructions need some work; I had to use a combination of the online video from YouTube and the written instructions so you can use what is provided and be successful. The written instructions were difficult to follow but the online videos were easy. The written instructions seemed more accurate and the video was confusing at times (which side the x-axis stop goes on for instance - in the video it says put it on the left but then in the next set of instructions in the video you see it on the opposite side of the axis bar). Makes you wonder where it really goes. When this happened I consulted the written instructions which seemed more accurate. The only other instruction gripe was the frame; the left side was supposed to be a different piece than the instructions showed but I was able to figure it out.I've done some calibration and gotten some decent results so far on some smaller prints. The hardest part is getting the bed level (I level it with the bed and the extruder hot in order to get precise clearance). My longest print so far was 20 hours and I had no jams or major issues. I'm using blue masking tape on the bed (I didn't like the masking tape like stuff it came with). I stick it down and then clean it with water and a paper towel before printing. I like the precision of this printer and I generally have been printing at 60mm/sec - this speed seems to work the best. The printer is easy to use when printing from an SD card. I haven't tried USB yet.For the price this printer is great. I have some friends that paid more and got less printer. It takes a while to put together accurately and correctly (important for later precision printing) but its a good printer once you are done. Also, mine had extra parts when I was done so they didn't skimp on the hardware for my kit. It also came with a spool holder (free standing). If you buy this printer buy some good filament at the same time too like I did; the printer only comes with a little bit of starter filament (which I didn't use). If you break something the parts are easy to find on Amazon (like the heater block, the heater, the extruder, etc).Update: 6/25/2017 - Printer caught on fire. Beware. After a couple months use, the heated bed connector caught on fire. Luckily I was home or it might have burned my entire house down. I cannot recommend this printer anymore. It was assembled per the manufacturer instructions and caught on fire in my home. I definitely would NOT buy this printer again. Unfortunately I am outside the return window or I would return the damn thing. This POS is destined for the trash heap.

Great printer but has a few problems
Great printer but has a few problems... the stop switch for the heated bed in mounted in the wrong location in the installation guide. They tell you to mount it near the y axis motor but when you home the machine the plate travels away from the switch and just started jumping the belt. I'll have to find a way to relocate the switch to the front of the printer. The hot end is garbage. It worked fine at first. I printed an amazing benchy but when I tried to change the filament the filament got stuck and I had to disassemble the entire hot end. I found it assembled wrong and found metal filling from when it was machined. I ended up just buying a new one frome3d. Also you are stuck using cuts 1402. Any time I tried to print from cuts 2.5 it never showed up. You also don't have any enclosed for the power supply so it just sits there looking like crap and it's really cheap imho. I had to buy a 30amp power supply with a fan.Things I really. The super sturdy construction of the extruded frame. It's better than my wanhao i3. No peer switch for the system, you need to unplug it after every use. No part cooling fan! . Expect to spend closer to $300 to get this printer working reliably and safely. It's really a shame they cut the corners they did with this unit. I would rather have spent a bit more to get a better printer. This printer isn't for someone who is new to 3d printing. Or that just wants to assemble a printer and go. I'm doing a reveiw of this printer and other 3d related products on my YouTube channel check me out @ rawdilz on YouTube.
