Beautiful book! Multiple designers have contributed inspired color combinations and designs useful for many projects. Most of the patterns use DK or Sport weight yarns, but can be used with many different yarns or threads for creating smaller or larger items.All patterns have both written and charted instructions. There are pages in the back showing abbreviation definitions and some advanced stitches. However, you either need to be familiar with basic crochet stitches or have an additional guide handy as directions for these are not included in the book. Each pattern does have a stitch guide for special stitches used which is very helpful.The"worst" thing is making the decision about which one to try first. I find myself wanting to do all at once! But while you are deciding, the book is a wonderful eye-candy treat just paging through it.

Amazing pictures , instructions and diagrams that have been worked through. Thank you so much as I have created a table runner putting multiple of these together and have customized the sizes easily.

This book is filled with beautiful, gorgeous mandalas. The color photos alone are inspirational in terms of colors and design. However, if you are the kind of crocheter that wants a chapter on what to do with all your mandalas this book will NOT provide that. This is strictly a book of patterns. I wasn't bothered by that as Pinterest can supply plenty of ideas! I absolutely loved every design in this book and can't wait to start making them!

I like the designs and colors in this book, and especially that every pattern is available with written instructions as well as large diagrams in alternating colors for each row.I personally prefer diagrams, and look to written instructions only occasionally for clarification.So far I‘ve made two patterns from the book, and in both patterns I noticed discrepancies between the pattern and the photo of the finished product. This is not a problem for an experienced crocheter like myself, but I can see how this would be confusing and frustrating for a beginner.

This is a book of wonderful patterns in the Mandalas format. Very pretty and well written. A relaxing project on the side for those of us who have taken on a few too many projects and need a quick break.

I just went through this book and saw a number of beautiful designs that I look forward to creating. I can see making a number of these and crocheting them together into unique tops for me, table runners and some looked like they will make beautiful potholders if two are joined with insulating material between them. I love the versatility that immediately popped into my mind! Not only will I have fun creating, but ultimately they can be put together to make great presents.

I love it so much I have it in both paperback and e-book versions, so I can use it at home (paperback) and take it anywhere. The mandalas are so freaking cool and I come back to them again and again and again and again........my plan is to make a ton of them, connect them, then put that on my wall. Then do that again, and make a dress. Then do that again and make a........you get the picture. These mandalas are art.

The Mandalas in this book are gorgeous. Usually, when I buy a new crochet book, I sit and look at all the patterns and may bookmark 2 or 3 items that catch my eye. There are so many striking designs in this book that I have bookmarked over half of them. Can't wait to start crocheting them!

Ótimo livro para quem está buscando novos padrões de mandalas. As mandalas são de vários tamanhos e as combinações de cores são bonitas. Tem o passo a passo em inglês e o gráfico. Em geral, são fáceis de fazer, uma ou outra tem um grau a mais de dificuldade. O que é ótimo, porque mesmo simples você consegue um resultado lindo.

Viele vielfältige Anleitungen zum Häkeln von Mandalas. Eher weniger für Anfänger geeignet, da auf englisch. Aber gute schriftliche Anleitungen mit zusätzlicher Häkelschrift.
