I would prefer to wear the headset in the back but the sounds isn’t as good as when worn in the back.

I received the first defective unit and contacted factory support who, via email, informed me that the items weren't defective and so i installed them. THEY DIDN'T WORK! I called factory support and while the gentleman was supportive it was obvious that these were defective and were sent back. I got a new set, thanks to Amazon, and installed them. These too are defective. Only one side worked and no other control seemed to function. Hasn't the factory heard of "QUALITY CONTROL" I mean obviously they weren't tested before shipment. I'm though with audio range. I'll go with the heavier bur more reliable German ones.

My elderly mother recently moved in with us so we are a 3 generation household. She previously had TV Ears but they stopped working. The AudioRange headset seemed to do the same thing but was $30 cheaper. It also has a built-in microphone, not to mention it doesn't look so ugly.My mother has a hard time hearing the TV when we watch as a family. With the headphones, she can understand what they're saying on the TV and I don't have to pause and rewind the show. When my 2 girls are doing homework, my mother can wear the headset so there's peace and quiet around the house instead of a blaring TV.Don't forget to try all the included eartips. At first my mother also thought it was a little uncomfortable but then we tried all the ear foams. She fell in love with the oddly shaped gray ones.

The setup was a breeze. The MIL love using them for Familty Fure, Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy, among other shows. They fit comfortably and the rest of the family due not suffer from the sound blasting from the TV. The most important part is my MIL can understand the words better which improves, and this makes her happier.

This is a wonderful device so my husband can watch TV as loud as he wants and I can sleep with peace & quiet or sit and read a book while he watches a TV show that I’m not interested in.

I have been struggling to use these for nearly two months. The sounds cuts out, the distance of use is very limited and every ear tip I tried hurt my ears. I ordered a pair of over the ear wireless headphones that arrived today. They were easy to install and are very comfortable to wear. The sound is great and does not cut out. I can walk into the kitchen from the living room and do tasks there while wearing the headphones and still hear the tv. I could not do that with the Audio Range headset.

Got these for my 92-year old mother-in-law, who likes to watch TV late at night. Tried 3 other brands before these. Yes, they are the most expensive, but -- THEY WORK! Every time. Simple to set up, simple to charge, simple to use.My only suggestion for improvement would be to make the labeling on the Volume & Balance controls LARGER, so they're easier to read.
