## Overview

The Cooler Master MasterLiquid Pro 280 is an advanced all-in-one liquid CPU cooler designed for high-performance cooling. Featuring FlowOp Technology and a dual chamber design, it efficiently isolates heated liquid from sensitive components while maximizing heat absorption. With two MasterFan Pro 140mm fans, it ensures whisper-quiet operation and superior heat management, making it an ideal choice for gamers and professionals alike.

## Description

Based on our expertise in thermal technology, The MasterLiquid Pro 280 with FlowOp looks at the flow of heat as it is carried and dissipated by an all-in-one CPU liquid cooler. Starting with the hot CPU, we re-engineered how liquid absorbs and expels that heat. Our holistic approach to the flow of heat puts in your hands a comprehensive cooling machine that lasts longer, performs better and requires virtually no maintenance. Enjoy the wonders of liquid cooling.

## Features

- Preserving parts - The Liquid heated by the CPU is isolated from sensitive components using two chambers in the pump
- Maximizing absorption - The water block, customized and packed densely with micro-fine plates, absorbs more heat from the CPU than traditional designs
- Zoning in on heat - Liquid is funneled directly at the hottest part of the CPU and carried away quickly through technology normally used in high-end DIY models
- Recycling the cool - Heated liquid is more efficiently cooled through a completely unique radiator fin design
- Getting it out - Heat in the radiator fins is expelled far out of the case by the new MasterFan Pro Air Balance fan

## Questions & Answers

**Q: which one better 240 or 280?**
A: Much fewer cases can support a 280, vs a 240. Check pcpartpicker.com to be sure a 280 will fit. Actual cooling difference is measurable, nut not worth the extra expense. The bigger the fans, the quieter they are since run slower for the same CFM airflow.

**Q: What else is needed to also water cool the gpu?**
A: While it is viable to cool a dedicated GPU with a closed loop water cooler, this product is not compatible with commercially available mounting hardware. Please see the NZXT Kraken G10 mount. https://www.amazon.com/NZXT-Kraken-RL-KRG10-W1-Bracket-White/dp/B00ITTFNW4. The only other solutions are custom loops or purchasing a graphics card with pre-mounted water cooling pump and radiator.

**Q: do i have all parts for cpu and gpu cooling here? which parts i need more for gpu cooling**
A: Cooler Master MasterLiquid Pro 280 CPU Cooler, is just that a CPU cooler. GPU cooler is something completely different, so no you dont have gpu cooling with this product

**Q: Does this need a separate mounting bracket for am4 socket?**
A: It does need a separate mounting bracket that does not yet come in the box. Though there is a bit of confusion between this model and the "non-Pro" variant, in that the "non-Pro" has native AM4 support.-CM Myke

AWESOME! Great! AIO by Cooler Master is the ONE!

*by T***4 on Reviewed in the United States on February 6, 2017*

Took my temps from 70 degrees Celsius back to 47 under normal operational loads (no OC yet, as 70 was prohibitive, but want to). I have an FX-8350. It runs pretty warm with 125W TDP. So, in the small case I chose (due to placement considerations) the stock and even an aftermarket cooler didn't really work that well (70 was with the aftermarket cooler).Enter AIO.The case has the space for a 240mm Radiator on the top, so I ordered the one from UpHere Technologies. Something in the universe told me not to use that one as each one of the successive three I ordered didn't have the AMD mounting plate included and it is supposed to. So, after a "3 strikes and you're out" policy, I decided to order either this one, the Cooler Master, or the Corsair H100 (latest version). The decision came down to NOISE LEVELS. Mind you I didn't get to try the UpHere as I could not mount it. So, it was based on specs from the manufacturers. The Cooler Master pump noise was from 6db and up. The corsair's was much higher. The fans are the fans as far as noise is concerned. But, there is a trick here the CM has. I will get to that later on.So, I mounted the radiator in the recessed top area designated for it in the Cuboid-B case I have. Then I put the fans on top of the radiator in a 'Pull' configuration. At first there was a minor humming/vibrating noise coming from one of the fans, but I had tried to do the install without the included rubber noise dampening gasket that goes between the radiator and the fans. I installed that and the vibrations settled down to an acceptable level. I may contact Cooler Master for one fan replacement, but it is functional at the moment. The other fan is perfect! The 2 fans included are the new 120mm AirBalance by Cooler Master. They push a LOT of air through with a very decent static pressure. This translates to keeping the whole room cooler because the heat is dispersed through a larger volume of air. (trick for more quiet) The fans also have a 3 position slider switch for (P)erformace, (Q)uiet or (S)ilence. The switch reduces the MAX RPM per setting by 500 starting with P=2500 max. Out of the box they are set to Q. So, if you want more performance go to P, more silence go to S. You will need a pin to slide the position switch. Also included is a splitter cable that allows both fans to run off of one PWM control header as they are 4 pin connecters, of course.p.s. Fixed post where it said "Q". I meant "P". Corrected spelling of performance. In addition, so far so AWESOME! This AIO works GREAT!This is my first liquid cooler and all I can say so far is: I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO AIR COOLING AGAIN (except where appropriate, i.e. a small ITX HTPC build or the like)! So, the basics of the cooler are a 2 chamber staged pump, 2 120mm cooling fans and a 240mm radiator. It comes with EVERYTHING you need to install the thing including thermal compound. The screws and brackets and such are packaged separately in their own nice container. Just be careful opening that as if you 'pop it' open the screws and stuff will go everywhere. My purchase even came with a $20 rebate, which made it only $12 more than the UpHere Technologies. Now, the computer system is around $1,000+ so, $12 for a BRAND NAME cooler instead of a no name one is probably a good choice. My ONLY 'wishes' with this are that the fans could plug into the pump header and then the pump plug into the CPU header. And since my build is 'blue led', that the fans would come in blue LED versions.Any questions, comments or concerns about this item, please post a comment and I will do what I can to answer them.C

    Gets the job done...

*by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on November 22, 2017*

Packaged well and seemed well built, but the fans are absolutely atrocious. Only consider this if it's under $100, as you're going to have to spend money on third party fans. The tubing is adequate, but the valves' position on the pump means you're very limited in terms of pump position and your logo will likely be vertical if mounting radiator to the top of the case. The screws for the fans are nice, but the screws for the radiator are a bit short (though get the job done on an H440). RGB would have been nice to have on a cooler marketed as higher end, but the blue LED looks nice enough I suppose. The pump is relatively quiet, but the included fans are by FAR the biggest detractor to the total product. They sound like a 747 flying over my house and even produce an obtrusive rattling sound when approaching max speed. This is compounded by use with an i7 7700K which likes to momentarily spike in core temps, meaning I'm blasted with a sonic wave of fan noise every time I launch Firefox.Nonetheless, upon replacing the included fans with $40 worth of corsair ML140s, the problem is eliminated and the cooler is comparable to any corsair or nzxt cooler. Installation was relatively simple though difficult, as the backplate is not secured to the motherboard, but instead is only held in place by nuts on the pump meaning you need three hands to hold the backplate, secure the nuts, AND position the pump simultaneously.Got mine for $99 plus a $15 rebate, though it's been six weeks and I still haven't gotten my rebate, nonetheless I've come to expect this with rebates and don't really hold it aganist CM, just don't expect a speedy reply. If it's around $120 or $130, I highly suggest going with one of the more expensive options like a 115i or a kraken, as this one is only worth it when the hidden cost of replacement fans still doesn't exceed the cost of other competitors.TL;DR, decent to good cooler held back by terrible fans; only buy if the price is still desirable after factoring in the cost of replacement fans.

Sistema di raffreddamento molto efficace ma leggermente rumoroso

*by C***I on Reviewed in Italy on February 8, 2019*
