HALL MADDEN white linen pocket squares are the most versatile pocket square you can buy. Linen stays in place better than cotton and has a luxury casual texture that complements any suit. The size of the pocket square is made to fit any tuxedo or suit chest pocket without causing an unattractive bulge. In order to get that clean 'sliver' of white linen simply fold the pocket square into 1/3s or 1/4s and then fold in half.

Finally found the one!
The media could not be loaded. Ok so long story short, this is by far THE BEST pocket square I’ve bought on amazon. Great quality, amazing price and this one will give you that clean sliver of white pocket square when folded correctly - my boyfriend is very happy with my choice! Here are some things I like about the product.1. PACKAGE: The first thing I’ve noticed was the package. The product is packaged in a simple way that it best maintains its original square form. Also, the product was sealed in clear bag so the handkerchiefs are kept clean. The quality of polybag was thick enough as needed and basic – if you are giving this as a gift than maybe you will need to package it yourself.2. TEXTURE: This is 100% Linen as described. I thought it would feel a little rough but to my surprise, it feels soft! I ended up taking one of the handkerchiefs to carry it in my purse as well.3. COLOR: You know there are so many white colors out there. This product is clean white. It’s not creamy ivory-ish white or light grey-ish white. This is the perfect white I’ve been looking for.4. LOOK & FEEL: This white linen pocket square matches with every color of men’s suits including tuxedos. I did the basic square fold and placed it on navy, grey, checkered of my boyfriend’s suits, all looked great. For a second I thought, silk would go with tuxedo but this linen pocket square works the magic. I didn’t know men can look this classy with a change of pocket square.I’d say this linen is ‘luxurious rustic’ than cotton so perhaps this helps stay in place throughout the day while making it versatile.5. THICKNESS & SIZE: Thick enough not to look cheap, thin enough not to look bulky when folded. The size was perfect when folded. Perfectly fit into the pocket after manipulating the width of the fold.6. STITCH: The difference in quality comes from how the product is finished. Of course, I checked the stitch line with this one as well. I would say this one almost perfectly stitched. Although the stitches are barely visible when folded, I was very happy with the quality. This looks WAY better than hand rolled finish.7. VALUE: 3 pack less than $15.00. The quality is equivalent or better than those high-end brands. Before I found this one, I looked at other brands. Hugo Boss is $60, Brooks Brothers linen pocket squares $55.8. TIPS: To keep it fresh and like new after use, I iron the pocket square after I wash it and spray a touch of starch.

It looked great until I took it out of the washing machine ...
It looked great until I took it out of the washing machine and dryer. The edges shrunk and curled up. I doubt I can iron it flat.

White Linen
Let’s set expectations here. This is an American-style white cotton linen pocket square. It will not work well for most of the elaborate, complex folds you see the internet dandies doing. For most of those concoctions, you need nylon or silk, and for many of them you simply need a bigger square. Pressed linen gives you a crisp, tight, precise finish. It’s prefect for a straight fold or a presidential fold. It’ll work for a three-point-crown or a simple stair step too. It’s white, bright, stark white. Showing too much of it against a dark suit jacket will quickly overwhelm. It has no visual interest of its own other than to contrast with and accent the jacket. And it won’t show the details of elaborate folds. But it does give that crisp, clean look. It’s not your best pocket square for a fancy dress party. But, it’s formal for formal attire and it’s a great finishing touch (without going overboard) for a businessman’s suit jacket. To use it, slightly wet it, then hit it hard with a high-heat Iron; it’s linen and can take the heat. Now, it’s perfectly flat and crisp. It’ll also take and hold your folds. A simple presidential fold and into your pocket, perfect.

A beautiful matte complement to a shiny silk tie; worth premium over cotton
Linen is the right material for a pocket square. Cotton is cheap. Silk is often garish. White linen is correct. I've heard that matte ties should be complemented by shiny squares, and shiny ties with matte squares. That feels like a good guideline to me. Of course, no one with self-respect would wear a square and tie made of the same cloth. At this price, it feels good to gift it to a friend in need. The weave is a bit coarser than I would like.

Good quality, very pleased, and highly recommend!
Yes! Well-made linen pocket square that measures a bit less than 12” by 12”. The size - which is slightly smaller than most handkerchief - is perfect for getting the right fold without being too bulky. The 3 pocket squares are shipped unfolded in a sealed plastic bag. They shouldn’t be wrinkled (unless the shipper folded, rolled, etc.) but if you choose to iron them, used an ironing cloth. Lightly mist the linen pocket square and ironing cloth (just use a white cloth or handkerchief so you don’t yellow the linen), put the ironing cloth over the linen pocket square, smooth out the wrinkles by hand, then press with the iron.I am very pleased with this product and highly recommend.

Okay for the price.
The borders are not very square so it is a challenge to fold properly to fit in a suit/blazer breast pocket. A truly high quality linen pocket with hand rolled edges costs 3 times the price of these so they are a decent buy. I own both and will spend the extra money from now on.

Quintessential men's pocket square.
Fine texture of linen. Slightly oversized but still fits perfectly in most pockets. Good white color with no embellishments. A great product all-around and highly recommended. Also unbeatable at this price.

Not linen
These are some sort of synthetic shiny material. Definitely not linen. If I wet them with water and squeeze them, nothing comes out because they do not hold water like linen does. Why is this seller allowed to call this synthetic material "linen?"
