This thing ain't no joke.
This thing will burn wood, light matches, and all that good stuff. Just put it on your hand for half a second and you can feel it. The attachments and case are a nice plus too.

Great laser. Good price. Good construction.
This is a great laser and has a bright and visible beam that is always missing from laser pointers. The laser will indeed light a fire and burn objects. It is very well constructed like a very nice high intensity flashlight. It will most likely need to be focused slightly and is easily done. This unit comes with generic rechargeable CR123 batteries. There is a sleeve around the batteries which can be removed from the unit so the higher capacity rechargeable batteries can be used. I purchased Demon Fire batteries and they fit perfectly. The batteries from Amazon....18350 1200mAh 3.7V High Drain LiMn Demonfire Rechargeable Battery with Button Top.It is not clear from the instructions that the batteries are installed with the positive (+) end toward the switch (not the front or laser end).It is nice having everything stored in the fitted metal case including the safety glasses. Be sure to use them, especially inside, because there are usually many reflective surfaces in a house. Be careful, mine came with the batteries already installed.

Not a toy, not for pets.
This item is extremely powerful, bright, and well made for the price. Do not ever use this or any other laser around your pets. They may enjoy chasing a laser dot (though it’s not good for them in general because they get frustrated like us when they can’t catch something) but dogs and cats eyes are much more sensitive than ours and this item specifically would cause instant and permanent eye damage or total blindness if it shone or reflected into your eye or an animals eye. The only reason I mention this is because I see so many reviews mention how much pets love to chase the laser. Find another toy, or go buy a 5$ pet specific laser at the pet store. (This item is strong enough to burn objects within 6-10 feet)

It's what you think it is. And it's awesome
Very bright, be careful. Will burn most things in close range. Use the glasses and absolutely never look directly at this. Even looking at what you're pointing at can strain the eyes.Handle it delicately and it should last. Expensive enough to regret dropping so take care of it. Battery's also seem to work well. I don't have the laser on for extended periods of time so there's that.I've seen a few people with these and always wanted one, got red, green ect but this is just not as common and yeah... it burns stuff. Fun toy, no practical purpose. Green lasers are just as bright for practical purposes but I don't think anyone is buying this for practical reasons 🤣

Fun to play with
One of the funner toys I bought this year. It will definitely light a cigarette it starts smoking almost instantly. I have yet to beabe to start a fire with it yet tho. Tried everything from paper to cotton balls. It is most definitely fun to use on pesky bugs.It is also very bright on light colored things that reflect light. Almost blinding bright.

Powerful
The frustrating thing is that there is no manufacturer or seller that tells you what the power of any laser is because of some crazy government regulation. They can't even say its a pointer but can tell you its a flashlight which of course is an outright lie. This particular model is labeled as a class 3 which means is between 5 and 500 mW.It probably is at least a few hundred mW because it will hurt your hand but not light things on fire. The batteries died after a few weeks but when I put in quality batteries it works again.

Battery life is terrible.
The batteries that came with this laser are junk. On a full charge.. it maintains power for maybe 1 minute. Then starts fading out. I ordered some extra batteries for it and they perform better. But it just seems to use a lot of power. I had one previously and it would maintain full power for quite some time. This one is either defective or not very good quality.

FIRE!!!
I have wanted a laser that will actually light things on fire since I was knee high to a grasshopper. And now... I HAVE IT!!! Please be careful if you get this thing it is actually very powerful especially for its size and cost. It really is sooooooo much fun though. Worth every penny for the kid in me. I LOVE it! 😁
