Chefs knife 8 inch by Kika Line - high carbon stainless steel blade - professional choice - EVA gift box (Black)

Gave to father as xmas gift. But used it a bit before going home, it’s fantastic. The knife it was replacing was one he had from my great grandfather, probably 40 or 50 years old, and it actually broke in half the very same day I gave him this one! Trying to cut through a turnip that had had enough and decided to fight back, I guess. Anyway, the Kika Line avenged his fallen brother, and then went after some of the turnip’s co-conspiritors. It’s super sharp and has very nice ergonomics. And that video review where the guy cuts paper with it is not a fluke, it was the first thing we did with it. Mighty impressive. Cut some pepper with it afterwards, no problems. I don’t know how long pakkawood holds up, that’s the main thing I wonder about. And the blade says “stainless steel”, with no overt mention of carbon, so I’m hoping it’s easy to sharpen by hand but not sure. But no regrets with the purchase. And the packaging makes it a very nice gift.

Decent knife for the price, it handles well and the weight is good. Only negative is that is does dull quite quickly.

Ordered it as a Christmas gift for one of my friends since it looked good on the pictures and is being sold in a gift box. Received in 2 days with my Prime shipping. Decided to open the box just to see if the knife is the same as it looks on the pictures in the listing description. Was pleasantly SURPRISED, the knife looks neat/elegant both in the box and in hands. Feels good in hand, the handle is nice, the blade is sturdy and extremely sharp -- see,s to be of a really good quality.Long story short -- my wife did not let me put it back into the gift box! Had to leave it as a kind of before-Christmas gift for her. She is happy :) Well, me too... Just had to order another one, but this time I am much more positive that my friend will actually like it!

I love cooking and therefore always looking for new accessories . This knife arrived in time in a beautiful packaging, boxed in a gift box. It has beautiful and very comfortable handle, it was very easy to hold while cutting. The knife is very sharp and its a great feeling to use it for making food. Amazing chef's knife! With this knife, cooking is a pleasure. This is also a perfect gift item with an awesome packaging box design. I definitely recommend this super chefs knife !!!

This chefs knife is the best that I've ever held in my hands! Balance is perfect. Blade is pristine, polished even, down to the edge. This blade does everything this type of blade is supposed to, with ease and precision. I've cut salmon, tuna, mako, shrimp, chicken, pork, and steak with this (I bring it with to the restaurant I work at) and cut cleaner thinner and with so much less effort than other knives. It's on par with a far more expensive knives.

This knife is a home cook's dream, it looks amazing and is sharp enough to cut smoothly through tomatoes without shredding them. It is my go to knife every time i cook. The packaging was very chic as well! Love it!!!

A great knife it holds it sharpness and it's well balanced blade and handle. The chefs knife itself feels smooth when I use it. Haven't had any issues with it. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good knife for a great price.
