Was a bit shocked when I opened the box and found the largest tinker toy set I've ever seen with lots of wood pieces. I was actually trying to figure out how to return the item as I was sure they had sent the wrong thing. After looking again online, at the nice picture of a assembled box spring, I saw the fine print of "some assembly required". Just thinking that could have been made a bit more clear. I decided to push ahead and put the thing together and now is where I would move to 4 stars. It assembled very easily. Everything fit just fine, I had it together in 20 minutes or so, but I also have a impact driver with a half inch socket, otherwise you may be trying to crank 16 nuts onto bolts with the cheesy little wrench they supply. Only downside is the cover just does not fit tight on the frame even with the drawstrings. I stapled the cover to the bottom of the frame and now is seems fine.

The picture is a bit misleading. This box spring comes in a huge and heavy box. Inside is unfinished wood that you must assemble into a boxspring. I was scared. BUT, it came together without too much fuss. Then you slip the fabric cover over it. It is not fancy but it fit my needs, which simply required some elevation on top of my bed frame and underneath my mattress.

the box spring arrived in a timely fashion with no damage. all pieces and parts were included. was very easy to assemble, except the cover is so tight and hard to fit on. other than that, i am very pleased with the product!

I dont reli get why ppl buy boxspring unless they hv to. I got this bed frame with its rail rising only 4'' off the ground so that I hv to get a boxspring. This is very sturdy becuz it's all pieces of wood nailed tgt. But also, if it's only pieces of wood, why so expensive in general......

Kind of a pain to put together, and the finished product doesn't look as polished as one you get in the store, but it does the job and for the money, it's worth the 45 minutes it took to put together.

Yes easy to put togetherYes a big pain in the behind. Directions was a picture..not clear. Would I buy this again...no! Sticks in a box you put together.

Just put this together and it came out fantastic and was just what I was looking for. It is certainly not a box "spring" but a foundation instead. We used it to raise up the mattress 8". We have a Tuft & Needle mattress. There is no creaking, etc. It feels very strong once put together. Putting it together was easy and pretty self-explanatory. If you want to speed things up, use a socket wrench with a 1/2" socket and a drill. You'll do it in 30% of the time.I opted for this foundation over another one listed on Amazon because the slats are closer together and provide more support to the mattress.

Very clean, very good-looking. The wood and fabric seems of good quality. However, if you sit on one section too hard, I think the wood cracks, it's not terribly strong.
