About it's function, the first thing I want to say is that the seconds hand is moving smoothly. It's NOT the traditional tick-tock style, this one has no sound AT ALL, which means that I even can put it right beside my pillow while sleeping. Notice that the button on the top can turn on the light inside the clock, but it can dismiss the alarm as well. When I first look at it, I thought I have to turn the alarm off from the back, but it actually working very user-friendly. Besides, the alarm system is very smart. It's beeping in low frequency for about 15 second and then increase the frequency, It turns into non-stop beeping after about 25 seconds. Most of people use the alarm on smart phones now but it's good to have that feature on this clock. Of course, there are other wonderful features about this clock and they all shown in product pictures. I will not repeat them here.Design: The wood part is real wood, not plastic with painting. There is a flat area at the bottom of the clock and there are two soft silicon dots beside that area. So when I place it on the flat surface, it attaches with the surface without any gap and those two dots create friction big enough to stop moving. The number on the clock face is very big and clear as shown in pictures. I really love this clock.Ps: Battery is not included, so keep that in mind while purchasing. When putting the battery in, insert the positive side first, then the negative side. Also, I wish they can add a quick-release bar, or something similar, to remove the battery from the clock. Now the most easy way is to hit the clock on your hand so the battery comes out by inertia. Just very gentle hit will do the job, but add a stripe looks more professional.

A fantastic smooth, wooden, and stylish clock just as described and shown. I have no complaints about the clock as everything worked well! Very easy to adjust and set the time. I think it's great for travellers as I used it whilst travelling overseas and it was brilliant. It looks superb not only on a wooden desk, table or anything wooden but pretty much anywhere.After using my clock for 2 weeks this little clock still has the correct time on it that I set 2 weeks ago, it hasn’t lost or gained a minute. so far it keeps time perfectly.About the Clock!1.It is very quiet and the only time I hear it is when I'm in bed and it is silent in the room, except for the sound of this clock. It is barely noticeable, but I do notice it.here you can hear a very faint and much quicker "tic-tic-tic-tic-tic-tic". As I said, it is a very faint sound, and it probably wouldn't bother most people2.This is a beautifully crafted wooden alarm clock,the silver button on the top is to snooze or to use the light,it lights a small LED bulb to light up the face of the clock and it also stops the alarm if it is ringing, the alarm starts ringing softly as a single beep which then doubles and becomes louder if not turned off by the snooze button, then the alarm rings again in 5 minutes. This snooze alarm keep s going off every 5 minutes until you turn off the alarm on/off switch on the back of the clock.3.On the back of the clock is Two dials,one sets the time, the other moves the silver hand to set the alarm time.Has 2 rubber dots on the bottom for grip and to protect your surfaces.4.AA battery(not included) Size:3.74*1.89*3.74inch,approximately 3.5" in diameter.Weight:5.47oz,I'd recommend this clock to anyone looking for a well-made, beautiful clock.

Very disappointed. These are very nicely designed clocks. I bought a walnut one and a beach wood. The walnut clock works beautifully. Completely quiet. This review is for the beach wood model. First used an alkaline battery and then noticed in very fine print not to use alkaline, even though it worked great in the walnut. So I put in a lithium and it still doesn’t work. Guess I will have to contact the company. A real nuisance for a disabled person to go through the packaging and mailing hassle.

Do not buy this clock unless you are happy replacing it often. I loved the way this clock looked and I bought it. It worked great until the button at the top fell off and I could no longer turn the light on at night which was what I bought this for. So I figured, maybe I got a bad one so I bought it again. Sure enough it broke in the same way. So I vowed never to buy one again. After awhile of not finding what I wanted, fool that I am, I bought it again. Guess what happened? It broke again. I don't usually write reviews and almost never do I wrote negative ones, but the mechanism on this clock is just not made right.

I have some cute clocks but I can't use them in the bedroom because the ticking keeps me up at night. And I can't even see them in the dark! This eliminates both problems. Not great for an alarm clock since you can only do it by the hour and not at 15, 30, or 45 minutes, but I use my phone for alarms anyway, so I'm very happy!

Truly like this alarm clock. It's quiet through the night (no ticking) and if you wake and push the button on top, the numbers light up so you can see the time. The wood is pretty also. The perfect alarm to get me up for work and also nice as a bedside clock when I'm off.

This clock is so attractive and easy to use. It's very quiet and the alarm is pleasant and increases in volume until you push the button on top. Love the clock's hands and the old fashioned reading of a real clock. I used to use my mobile phone as an alarm clock, but this way of waking is much better. It would make a great gift for all ages.

This clock is so cute! I was very excited to get it, but a few minutes after putting the battery in it quit working. I’ve tried three batteries and it does the same thing every time. I’m so disappointed that I have to return it.
