DERMagic Hot Spot Salveis a concentrated formulation of our Skin Rescue Loti on.ÂThis fresh-smelling salve is formulated with the same all-natural and organic ingredients, including whole-leaf aloe vera gel, vitamin E, rosemary essential oil, sesame oil, and lanolin to help it stick to the skin. This product is for oozing hot spots and itchy or inflamed areas (like insect bites and localized allergic reactions). Dab on a small amount of DERMagic Hot Spot Salve topically once or twice per day until symptoms disappear. Always keep DERMagic handy for those small bites or cuts to reduce infections. (Note: if you are treating a large area, or your dog has black skin or hair loss, please use the Skin Rescue Lotion, not the Hot Spot Salve.) For Best Results: Prior to the first application, clip all hair surrounding the hot spot or wound. Dab a small amount of DERMagic Hot Spot Salvedirectly on wound. Keep area covered with a sock or t-shirt for protection from licking.  There is nothing harmful or toxic in this product to harm your pet in case of ingestion. Review: Poor guy was in extreme pain - My older dog started to develop hot spots at the base of his tail that quickly escalated to a visit with the vet. Poor guy was in extreme pain. Pain killers, antibiotics, and Benadryl later, his skin was still very raw, itchy, and painful. I tried this product to see if we could get some quick relief. It is very thick and applying it to raw skin is "problematic" and painful. At the same time, the thickness also means it stayed on longer even when he licked the wound. The most important thing is that it WORKED! After one day of applying it twice a day, the skin was a little less raw. After two days, the skin had returned to it's normal color and raw wounds were healing nicely. It wasn't long after that I started to see new hair grow on the now healed wound. Cons: Its a bit pricey, hurts the poor guy at first trying spread the think paste on raw open wounds, and the paste ends up on cloths, carpet, furniture as the dog lays or brushes up against things. Pros: A little of the paste goes along way, wounds healed pretty fast so the pain is short lived, the paste is easy to rub off the furniture as it drys and, doesn't stain. Again, this stuff worked and my dog is recovering nicely. He is aging with arthritis and will probably experience this again so I plan to keep this Salve on hand to prevent the wounds from escalating to such a painful level in the future.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soothing for Flea Allergy for our Kitty - Prefer Loton over the Salve - Bring Back the Feline Rescue Lotion Amazon!

This is for a feline, so the review is pointed toward cat owners. First, this is good for flea allergies in general, with a cat. It does help with soothing and moisturizing, but it is not lick-proof, so your kitty will be busy licking one side down the other. The better product by DermMagic is their Feline Rescue Lotion, which is currently unavailable on Amazon. Kitty Lovers need to speak up and ask Amazon for fair coverage of cats and dogs alike. This does not stop the flea allergy but is relief only. Baths also dry out the skin, so bathe weekly and no sooner. To keep the kitty from licking, the only product we founds has been Happy Jack, which looks like oil. It is lick-proof for our kitty...The DermMagic Feline Rescue Lotion gets FIVE STARS because it soothes even better than the salve and we don't know why that is, but it's just a fact for our household. The hunt never ceases for flea allergy remedies but we will continue on...
