I bought this particular lap desk after much research to use my MacBook on. I don't work on it 8 hours a day, but I do have it on my lap for maybe an hour before I get up just to move around just as I do at my office desk. It compares to some bigger names in this business and the build quality is excellent. My Magic Mouse tracks nicely on the smooth mouse surface. My iPhone 5S in a bummer case fits well into the tablet slot. The holes below the laptop do assist in heat dissipation as designed. I recommend this lap desk but do remember to get up and move around to keep your blood flowing.

My significant other was using a cardboard box as a lap desk for about a year because he couldn't find one that wasn't padded or required the use of a USB port. This has been exactly what he was looking for. It is lightweight and comfortable to move around, but still keeps his electronics from getting overheated.

I edit for HOURS every day. I wanted something flat to sit on my lap, that was also breathable. I LOVE this lap desk. The ventilation is perfect and it's not heavy or bulky. Exactly what I was looking for.

Very happy with this, until the sun warped the mousepad. Was not a problem until the day it was exposed directly to the sun. It is like a hard rubber, glued to the board. Disappointed, but I am going to buy another one anyway and be more careful.

Great quality. It's a bit heavier than I imagined. The slot that holds your phone/ tablet had a hole to fit your charger cable and there is a small raised bar in the front which helps prevent your laptop from sliding off.

As I'm typing this, my laptop is on the lap desk. I love it! The iPad slot works only if the iPad does NOT have a protective case. I still can use that area to position the iPad next to the laptop screen, which is very convenient.

Excellent product. Built in mouse pad, venting holes to prevent overheating and a slot for either a tablet or phone with an access hole for power. Excellent price.

Looks great and is light so easy to carry.
