SparkWorks Grey Lantern (Large)

I am 100 percent pleased with my SparkWorks wrought iron lantern. It is the work of an artisan. Its workmanship and material are quality down to the last detail. For instance, its 2-piece latch fits together, and against the lantern's framework and door, snugly and perfectly. The glass jar fits snugly inside the raised wrought iron ring, and the jar is high enough that a wide pillar candle cannot tip out of it (unless someone wildly swings the lantern). A pillar candle can be placed in the glass jar OR inside the raised ring.To perceive how meticulous the craftsman is, look at the diagram (in the column of pictures). He provides, in both inches and centimeters, every dimension needed to determine whether the lantern will fit in your space. And observe that the door is hung level with the framework; it is not 'off' by even a fraction.And even the maker's tag is wrought iron, not cardboard!The lantern's design reminds me of old Boston, its origin. I picture it, with a second lantern, in the North Church's steeple to silently announce "one if by land, two if by sea," when Paul Revere rode his horse through the town to warn that the British were coming.At Christmastime I plan to put a red pillar candle in my lantern to announce the Christ's Epiphany is coming on the twelfth day.

I purchased both the large & small SparkWorks Grey Lanterns & gave them as part of a house warming gift. Our friends loved them! The slate grey color is very nice & would fit well with various decor. The lanterns are a bit light weight but for the price they are worth it. It includes a glass candle jar which I did not recall seeing in the seller details. The design is unique. The door has a little slide that opens & locks in place when the door is closed. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this product again. It's really cute!

This lantern is exactly what I was looking for to add as a night light feature in my kitchen. It's just adorable. I got the larger one. Was able to bling it up a bit, too. Couldn't have turned out better! It's an eye-catcher and I've gotten a lot of compliments on it. It's very sturdy and well-constructed. I think it's worth the money.

Very nice....just as described. Love that we can use different size of candles. We use it by the fireplace. Seems to be very well made. Would recommend it!

Absolutely love my new lanterns! They look so great hanging in the lists of our new gazebo! They looked great on my kitchen island as well while I was putting the batteries in.....may have to order more!

These are beautiful, well constructed decorations and look fantastic on our dining room table.
