With push buttons and 5 indicator LED's, this device is a breeze to use. The "UP" and "DOWN" buttons are used to select between current levels, while the "OFF" button functions as an "instant-off" feature, allowing the user to immediately end a session. Additionally, we've added a Low Battery indicator LED, which alerts the user when the battery needs to be replaced. But don't worry, this device will run for over 90 hours at the highest 2mA setting, so you won't be doing much battery replacing.The Brain Stimulator v3.0 is powered by a standard 9-volt battery, but special voltage boosting technology surcharges the device, allowing it to operate with a full 12-volts (+/-0.5V) of power! In addition, we've integrated a "constant-voltage" system, which means that unlike other tDCS devices which lose efficiency with battery life, The Brain Stimulator tDCS device will operate continuously at 12-volts, regardless of battery health.The Brain Stimulator v3.0 features intermediate current stepping in-between the four selectable current options. This intermediate stepping allows the device to briefly pause halfway between each of the four (0.5mA - 1mA - 1.5mA - 2mA) when the user is changing current levels, providing for an extremely comfortable tDCS session.Additionally, you can put away that kitchen timer because we integrated a 30-minute session timer! This new feature gently lowers the output current and turns off the device once the time limit has been reached. Over-Current & Over-Voltage Protection - This feature prevents the device from ever exceeding 2.25mA at any time. If the device detects an Over-Current issue, the device will immediately cut off current flow and lock, preventing further operation.
