The light is a novelty, but it doesn't really do that much for you, or at least it doesn't for me. Since I'm pushing the latch-hook up from the back side of the fabric, the light doesn't provide any benefit to seeing the snag you're wanting to pull through. The latch-hook is slightly larger than the non-lighted snag repair tool I purchased at the same time. I think the smaller latch-hook is better, as it's easier to work it into the fabric than this larger hook.

This isn't exactly what I was expecting when I ordered it. A little bigger than I thought it'd be, so not as comfortable in my hand as none lighted products.

This little gadget will help me A LOT with picking up knitting stitches (especially on dark colored yarns) and also with getting the snags out of my clothes that are just begging to have the snags removed. So unsightly. To this point I have had no way to do this. It is in my knitting bag ready for use as we speak. The service from 4-stuff was really good and I will be watching their store for further sewing/knitting needs in the future.Thanks so much 4-Stuff

The light sounded like a great idea, but you can't see the light when you are poking it through to grab the snag. The light shines under the fabric, not on the snag.

I'm in my fifties so my eyes aren't as good as they used to be! The light makes a huge difference for me. I'm already using "cheaters" (magnifying/reading glasses), adding the light really makes a difference. Such a small thing...but such a big difference!

I bought two, one for myself and since my Mom is a seamstress and lost hers I bought her one too. The Widget works great for any type of fabric.

I have the snag fixer regular and love it! But this is a must have its works great on dark yarn to fix snags and also in poor lighting. Sorry old snag fixer this one is taking your place!

This was a little harder to use than I had hoped. The hook seems pretty flimsy.
