Safecracker 50 Puzzle - Difficult Math Puzzle - Great Gift Idea for Teens and Adults

Sent this as a gift to my father, who's an engineer. He ended up taking it to work with him and getting his colleagues involved, who now spend their work breaks trying to solve the thing. It looks good, worthy of being a coffee table display piece.

This is beautifully made and too difficult for me to take time to even think about. I thought I had found a gift that my 16 year old son would be tied up with for a least a couple of weeks based on reviews, but somehow he mathematically calculated the solution and had it done in a couple of hours! No one else in the our family can do it, so it is the challenge it is advertised to be, but if you have a mathematical minded person, it may be easier than you hoped.

This puzzle is quite simple but extremely difficult. But there is some logic that you can apply and it can be solved rather quickly. But I’m not gonna tell you what that logic is. The fun is discovering it yourself.
