Many different options with each die
Like you can make 4 gnomes and mix and match parts or have all the same.

Items cut well, but…
It would be helpful if they came with instructions! Too many tiny parts to know for sure!

They are small to small
To small to work with.

Cute, but tricky
These dies do not have instructions like a good photo showing what the tiny bits are.I know how to cut dies. I also have a pretty good idea about how to assemble them, so when I saw these I thought little gnomes would be adorable to put on cards, tags or in journals. Usually I am not a cutsie lover, but really, gnomes are fun. These were frustrating from the beginning. From what I can tell they need to be assembled on a backing because many pieces butt up to one another instead of having overlap which allows them to be put together as self-standing units. In other words, without a backing they can't be completely put together. This means you have to put them together where you want them to stay. You can't just make little gnomes to add to projects later. The gnomes are small, a little over 2 inches...and pieces are weird shapes that I found very fussy to assemble even with my good pointy tweezers. They are cute, and the details are sweet. Some of them have "props" like the little envelope that cut out with one I did put together.I am not sure how much I will use them because they are just so tricky. I now have 3 lightly colored gnomes on little red squares. I used some colored pencils which were probably not the best choice. You can see in the photo that I tried to print the picture included on Amazon as an illustration to help me, but I was unable to enlarge it very far because it's very blurry. That is the only thing I had available to figure out what the pieces were.In short, if you like fussy tiny assembly these are quite adorable. If you get frustrated with this sort of thing I wouldn't get these. I will keep them, but frankly I don't know how much I will use them. I will have to be in the right mood and it will have to be for a specific purpose.I'm kind of disappointed because they could be redesigned slightly to have a frame backer piece and be quite fun to do.Dear manufacturer: I would rather have had fewer gnomes with a good backer piece to make assembly easier and allow me to have free-standing little guys. Also a decent photo to use to see what the pieces are would be a huge help. Thanks!

Die cuts don’t match the pictures. Would have been helpful to have the stamps that went with them.
Hard to work with such tiny pieces.
