Grey Waterproof Seam Sealing Tape Textile Repair DIY Iron Outdoor Gore Jacket Patch

I paid the extra air freight to get the tape by Xmas because I anticipated the cold weather and my Goretex jacket (maybe 16 years old via Performance Bicycle) had a few "sketchy" seams. It took me the better part of a day to remove the old strips from the jacket CAREFULLY and SLOWLY. I did not cut long strips of the tape to replace the removed tape. I took my time ironing the tape onto the jacket. The iron was on medium and the ironing board was semi-soft. After two weeks I only found a few places where I needed to reheat the tape. The silver color does not match the black inside color but I don't care. I will see how the tape works for pants.

I whitewater kayak allot in the PNW and when we are scouting rapids you end up ripping a holes in your drysuit. This tape worked great to fix those tiny holes around my legs. I put the iron on the lowest setting for materials, and stuck a piece of cardboard down the legs to use a ironing board. Worked great!! I can now fix my stuff at home and not have to send it off. Took just minutes to fix. I'm happy with the results.

Surplus 'goretex' jacket from Germany was losing a seam. Replaced with this. Stuck fast and has thus far held up! Wish I'd known of this years ago. Bought a $30 waterproof military jacket for outside work and this is helping to keep my jacket functioning 100%

Doing clamming up to my chest in 40 degree water this past winter with a leaky 12-year old pullover drytop was not fun. But getting this 10-meter roll delivered 6,896 miles from Seoul was exactly what was needed to do a full replacement of the drytop's seam tape, and I still have two meters left to repair my leaky waders. Very easy to apply with an iron.
