These are thick and SO sturdy!! The pictures are super crisp and colorful. My 4 year old loves them! You get two type of sets of number cards which I love! Wish I would have found these before spending on other number cards. These are great for first set of flash cards very sturdy and beautifully made!

The illustrations on these cards are crisp, clear, and fun for your child to look at! The material they are made out of is thicker than card stock! With in moments my 2 year old tried jumping on and bending them but didn't succeed due to their over all sturdiness!Inside you will receive 20 cards or 2 sets of cards that count to 10. (10 is the highest number) The first set is a traditional number with corresponding animal count on the other side (example, #2 with 2 dogs) the other set has the number spelled out with the same number of dots and corresponding animals (example #five dot dot dot dot dot 5 cats).I love that this gives my child multiple ways to learn her numbers, by counting, animals, and the shapes of the numbers themselves. We've already started practicing!

I don't know about you, but I remember opening up Eric Carle's books and lighting up with joy as I flipped through the pages. When I was a child, my school would often bring in different books of his, and our teacher would let us read them or he/she would read to us. The colorful pictures and variety of animals, shapes, objects, drawings, etc., you can't be disappointed as a kid. All the things that kids love are in his books. I bought Eric's book sets because of my past memories and fondness with them. As of now, I often use them when I teach to children from the ages of 3-6. In my classes, the books are always a big hit. The children smile when they see the pages turn, and they are able to easily remember the numbers thanks to the colorful images. I personally think that everyone who has young ones, or will have young ones, should make this a top priority purchase.

My daughter loves these cards. We started with the ABC set when she was around 9 months old since she loved animals and I thought they would be simpler since there is only one animal on each card. After a few weeks she was able to correctly pick up the card that we asked for and can now (17 months) say almost all of the animal names. We started using the number flash cards when she was about a year old in the same way. They have introduced even more animals and help as she learns to count. We play with these and the alphabet cards daily.These cards are a great tool for getting young children interested in learning. Children are drawn to the beautiful illustrations, especially fans of Eric Carle books as many favorite characters are repeated here. They are also great for developing motor skills while picking up, sorting and putting in the box.

My 2 year old son loves these cards! Instead of reading books at night now he loves to do flash cards. There are 2 sets of cards. One set has a certain number of animals on the front with the actual number on the back (ie 1, 2, 3) the others also have a certain number of animals on the front but the back has the same number of dots and has the word spelled out (ie one, two, three). They both go up to 10 so there are a total of 20 cards. The flash cards are very durable and are safe in the hands of my rambunctious and sometimes destructive 2 year old. The pictures (as in all Eric Carle products) are beautifully done. I wish I could give these 10 stars!

These cards have beautiful colors and are extremely durable. They just have a feel of quality and I love that. Some of the illustrations are weird and unclear. For instance, there is one illustration where I'm not sure if they are black stars or some weird kind of spiky ball. In another illustrations, it can be hard for a toddler to tell exactly what animal it is. All of this is easily overcome with just a tiny bit of practice. The cards come with 4 ways of identifying a number and I really appreciate that, so I would buy them again in a heart beat.

I bought these for my 20 month old son. I wasn’t sure what to expect as there are so many flash cards on the market but I couldn’t be more thrilled with these.Firstly, the quality far exceeds what I was expecting. They are chunky and thick and feel really well made. They are also a lot bigger than what I was expecting which is only a bonus!From the pictures, I wasn’t sure exactly how many cards I would receive. All in all, there are twenty. They are all double sided and come in 2 sets of ten cards. One set shows 1-10 in numbers on one side and 1-10 in pictures on the other. The other set shows 1-10 in pictures on one side (different pictures to the first set) with numerals on the other side plus Numicon style depictions of each number.Therefore, each number (1-10) has two pictures plus the numeral, the word and its own representation in dots.These are great for matching numbers plus also recognising numbers 1-10 in different formats. Overall, I am thrilled with the quality and as an early years educator I would recommend these to any parent or teacher looking for fun maths based resources. You won’t be disappointed!

We bought these for our two year old son and he loves them! They have lovely Eric Carle drawings of many common and not so common animals and insects. Made on very firm cardboard in a strong box. We play with these almost daily and he now recognises many animals many animals such as seahorses and fireflys which you dont normaly see in books etc.. We also bought the alaphabet flash cards and we have now invested in a set for our neice who equally loves them!

A very sturdy box and good quality thick cards. The pictures are of the usual quirky and colourful style of Eric Carle, and each illustration of animals is accompanied by the particular number in numerals and in words. I shall look forward to using these with my second lanaguge English pupils to enhance their learning of numbers.

Got these and the animal alphabet flash cards at christmas for our 15mth old son and he loves them. If he sees them in his toy box, everything else is slung out of the way to get to them :-) The illustrations are beautifully done and not the normal animals you see in kids books, so more interesting. They are thick card and come in a sturdy flip top box, which he loves opening. Marked down a star as he has sucked the edge of one card and it has lifted the top layer slightly.
