Happy Ge S&W Bodyguard 380 Sneaky Pete Holster (Belt Loop)

I got this holster thinking that it was a great way to carry for an older guy who is unlikely to be able to reach his ankles! It works for that but there is no place for an extra clip, and I'm not sure the draw would be fast enough if you really needed to get to it quickly. The advantage is that its comfortable for people who don't carry purses, even if you have a bit of old age sitting around your middle.I prefer my ham radio as a crime deterrent, backed up by a cell phone. The radio intimidates the bad guys who can't be sure who you really are, the cell phone can bring the world to your location, and the gun is a backup. My wife is generally the one requesting that I carry, and with this holster she need not ask (but sometimes I use it to carry an extra battery for my radio!).I give it 4 stars only because there is no extra clip space and for legal compatibility, otherwise its a high quality product that makes being armed very comfortable. Laws in most states require you to keep your pistol visible when driving (in case you are stopped) and some require it to be out of reach. These laws create safety hazards allegedly to help law enforcement be aware of your firearm and keep it out of reach in a road rage situation. People with those kind of tempers and real bad guys who might actually endanger an officer, are not going to be carrying a small weapon or obeying the law. If you need to move your weapon 'out of reach' or make it visible that means extracting it when you get in the car, and you must un-holster it to do this. This creates a time of vulnerability where the contents of the holster are clearly visible.Every time your un-holster a weapon you take a risk - however small. If a bad guy sees you do it and feels he can overcome you then he might attempt a flash move to obtain your weapon. Check your local gun laws and make sure using a device like this does not compromise you or your safety in any way while getting in our out of your car.For general off road use, this holster is a great tool. I'd like to see some other adaptations. For example, I'd like one that could hold my bee sting injector, some medicine, my keys, and a snack - but they'd probably start calling me Batman.

I found one I am comfortable with!! The sneaky Pete cell phone case.After trying a different one and being completely paranoid about raising my arms in stores to reach stuff, and people seeing it, I saw someone I know with my same gun. He has a cell phone holster and I would never have known this whole time, that he had a gun in it. He had to use it 2 weeks ago when some nut just walked into his home uninvited too. Thankfully he didn't have to shoot.Anyway. I got the cell phone holster and tried yesterday and I love it.As a girl, I looked at many purses, looked at many many articles in the USCCA and online about women and holsters, and as women we leave our purses on the floor, back of chairs at restaurants, and other places away from us.I have kids and am around kids a lot. Until I began thinking about it, I never realized how often I leave my purse out of my reach.Plus it seemed like it would be a couple extra seconds to grab the gun, in a purse.Defeated the purpose.The cell phone holster is perfect because now I can wear whatever shirt I want and it doesn't mess with the outfit.I cannot tell you how relieved I am to have found this holster. Highly recommend sneaky Pete. Came quick and the box it came in was SO professional. That company is top notch.

I no longer have to "dress around" my Bodyguard 380! The weapon fits perfectly, draws quickly and smoothly and reholsters without any fumbling around or visual distraction.A note about the magnetic closure: I was somewhat concerned about this feature and how well it would function but, it keeps my gun securely out of sight in all contexts. The only drawback is that the metal in the structure won't get through the metal detectors at the court house or the bank and in my state carrying concealed or otherwise is prohibited in those facilities.

High quality, durable and lightweight. I choose this for my wife and its perfect for her frame and handgun model. Looks like a cellphone case! Our 380 fits securely, its been broken in by now and theres no play or sloppiness, still a secure fit. Sneaky Pete offer a very well made line of holsters that fit a huge variety of firearms and the latest holster to our collection for our SW 380 Bodyguard is superb, Thank You SP!! Fyi: the holster is ideal for my wife (5'5, she would get mad but app. 120lb) securely holds her 380 and there is no struggling to draw her firearm, also this holster has no room for any magazines. very nice, works well

Arrived quickly and well made. At least now in the summer months I can carry and not worry if my T shirt is covering it. It will not fit with the little magazine extension for the little finger grip. Really not a big deal as it is not designed as a quick draw. It is best retrieved with the middle finger IMO. Magnetic flap holds down well and it can be slid around on you belt a little depending where your belt loops are located to make driving and seat belt not a issue. I suspect I will have to order another as soon as my wife see's it. Far better than carrying in a purse that can be stolen off your arm quickly. Larger than a cell phone or GPS or camera holder indeed. Should anyone ever ask what it is my plan is to reply "My Medical Provisions" I'm diabetic! (not really) but that should suffice.

This product is very well constructed with quality material. I use it with a smith and wesson 380 bodyguard. I have never been questioned about it being a handgun holster. I think because of its square shape, it could be taken for a variety of uses. If ever asked, I'm just gonna say it's my "first aid kit". I highly recommend it.
