## Description

The 15TM is based on Cordoba’s best-selling 15CM, offering the next size up for players who find the concert ukulele a bit too small. This handmade tenor ukulele features mahogany top, back, and sides, giving this small bodied ukulele a full, rich sound. Appointments like the 15TM’s abalone-style rosette and ivoroid body and fingerboard binding set this ukulele apart from other models in its price range. Additional features include a sleek satin finish, silver tuners with pearl buttons, and premium Aquila strings. Beginners and professionals alike will appreciate the 15TM’s good looks and easy playability. The 15TM is also available in concert (15CM) and soprano (15SM) sizes. It is also available in concert size with an edge burst finish and pickup (15CM-E EB).

Review: Very nice Ukulele - Very nice looking instrument. Arrived packed well, and intact. Lightweight, and easier for someone with larger hands to use. As with any new ukulele, it needs to be tuned after each use, but after a few weeks, it will stay in tune for a long time. Many free apps to use for tuning are online.
Review: Nice sound, feel... good value - I have three Cordoba ukes (15SM, the 15TM and :Protege U-1-M) and all three are nice. I have played guitar for years and made the switch a few months ago and have been buying different sizes to see which I like best. My favorite is this TM15. It is large enough for my fingers to easily fret up and down the board. The sound is nice although I did put some Aquila Lava on the TM15, and Aquila Reds Low G on the Protege. While I do hope to get a sold wood Koa in the future these are great for learning. As for craftsmanship ... the TM15 had some fret buzz which I managed to get rid of with new strings. Also the TM15 frets had some rough burrs that I filed off (OJT for me). And I did find a sheet of sandpaper inside the TM15 which was a welcome gift I guess! Highly recommend for starters! BTW the Protege is almost my favorite... soprano not so much! Enjoy!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: was it made in china?**
A: According to Cordoba website they are made in China. I love my ukulele. It sounds great and looks good too!

**Q: im wanting to buy this for my husband who is left handed. has anyone had success with this particular ukulele switching strings?**
A: Ukuleles come with the same string it is not a guitar. Just have your husband hold it left-handed and tune accordingly. I grew up in Hawai`i playing the ukulele. I am purchasing a concert or tenor know. I wanted to add to my collection.

**Q: Does this Cordoba really have 6 strings? The picture shows only 4.**
A: I bought a 4 string Córdoba Ukulele. Actually, I bought 2: one a concert uke, the other a soprano. I like them both. They are both ukuleles...4 strings.

**Q: I got this today but it is easily out of tuned (every hour). Is this normal for a new instrument?**
A: Yes, this is normal. It takes time for new strings to stretch out. This happens any time you change strings and it's true for guitars, ukes, basses etc... If you are careful and don't just yank or rip at them, you can lightly pull each individual string up to help break it in quicker by laying the uke on your lap or on a table with the strings up and put your finder under he drying about half way between the top of the neck and the bottom and just pull up on the string and hold it for about 10-30 seconds. Don't pull pull until it feels like it will snap just tug a little depending on the which string. The thick strings you might be able to pull a half inch and the thinner strings maybe a quarter inch do this for each string a couple times. Re-tune all the strings and do this 3 or four times and you should notice it going out of fine less and less each time. After a few times just start playing it and you will notice that it stays in tune much better. After a few days if playing, the neck and strings should be fully broken in and you should be able to go anyway where between a few days and weeks without really needing to tune it again (more or less time depending on how often you play it and how hard you strum)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 15Tm-CE is a quality tenor ukulele
*by L***I on May 23, 2025*

This is a well made tenor ukulele with a nice rich sound with the perfect amount of bass tone. The satin finish and overall construction are very clean and precise. The specifications met with those found on the Cordoba website. The fretboard spacings are perfect for my fingers and met my expectations. I play a soprano ukulele and my fingers are too big to play some notes comfortably so that is why I wanted to switch to a larger fretboard. I have recommended this uke to other players. The product was delivered on time as promised.
