## Description

The neo g airflow breathable arm sling is adjustable and constructed from breathable fabric for maximum comfort and control. It can be used for right or left arm/shoulder injuries and works by helping immobilize the shoulder and collar bone joints to aid a comfortable healing position to allow joint and soft tissue recovery. Useful in rehabilitation, it helps reduce stress around the arm/shoulder complex and helps encourage correct alignment of the joint for healing by stabilizing the forearm against the body. Assistance may be required when fitting.

Review: Excellent 9.9/10 sling way more comfortable, adjustable than the one provided by the NHS - After having labrum repair surgery to my shoulder I was given a standard sling by the NHS, where the velcro attachments were rubbish and it didn't even last 2 weeks (My arm has to be in a sling for a minimum of 6 weeks) Also my kneck was very sore from the lack of padding and rubbing of the provided sling however this sling comes with a cushion type 'rest' that is adjustable and comfortable. I purchased this sling and it is very well made and looks much better when going out (Better than a blue velvety sling anyway!). It offers excellent support to my shoulder, breathable and lightweight and I will most likely be purchasing another one when I have my other shoulder operated on! I recommend anyone who is going to be wearing a sling for a while to buy one as this is a very good investment and you'll be much comfier than the slings provided.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: does this sling have a strap that goes around the mid-drift of the body to keep it secure to the body?**
A: Yes. It does have the strap goes around the trunk. However if you need strong support to position your arm in the sling, this is not ideal because the straps are really thin and don't give much support. I liked the price but it wasn't really helpful for the support that I needed. Good luck.

**Q: how long is this sling? length**
A: I used this sling very successfully for a broken arm.  but now I'm good so I threw it away! cannot say exact length but I would guess about 12", maybe 14" I am a woman about 5"10 and it worked for me. depending on your issue, the second strap that goes around the waist is helpful stabilizing the arm.

**Q: the cheap sling I bought at the drugstore rides up to the elbow and becomes useless. Does this one stay put?**
A: This proved to be a very effective sling for me. Following extensive wrist surgery my hand had to be elevated above my heart. Given the length of this sling there was minimal position issues and my arm stayed put. This sling was a good reminder that I was not to do anything with my fingers or hand as it extended past my fingertips. Furthermore extra padding around the neck allows the user to adjust the sling so that it is comfortable around the shoulders and neck.

**Q: Will this material dry quickly if I wear it in the pool on my Mexico vacation?**
A: Not really . . . . . the thickness of the material will definitely hold water for a while.  One problem with this sling is that the shoulder strap cuts into your neck; it requires additional padding at the neck.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great Sling for us Goofs!

I messed my shoulder up (again) and the one the hospital gave me was horrendous the strap cut into my neck and was hot (I live in Florida). I got this one because I may need surgery (again) and will probably have use for it in the future I am a goof! It is very adjustable with lots of straps! It has a really nice neck cushion (could be a bit bigger) so that the weight isn't cutting into your neck. I really didn't need the immobilization part but it does come with a strap for that and seems like it would do the job really well. It does have an inner loop apparently for your fingers most have it for your thumb but this one is big as you can almost fit your hand into it. I do wish that was adjustable but it is not. It also breathes very well even though it is black (but black can be good as it doesn't stand out as much). I'm 5'8" and it fits me quite well with plenty of adjustability left!
