A good nights sleep is priceless. Bedding has a lot to do with it. In the past, I’ve had all sorts of pillows, although I realize that they need to be replaced. From the very first night, these pillows were comfortable. No tossing or turning for me. Their coolness and medium firmness make them perfect for a side or stomach sleeper like myself.

I have neck and shoulder issues from a lifetime of labor. It’s hard to make a decision on other’s reviews and product descriptions. I always thought a thick pillow would be hard on my neck. It’s very fat but compresses and supports my neck beautifully. As long as I sleep very high on this pillow I have zero neck pain in the morning. Five stars for me based on 4 months of use. Our requirements are all different so your results may vary but this pillow has certainly affected my daily life in a very positive way.

I was trying to get new pillows to replace my 15+ year old pillows but these Serta Down "Firm" pillows are thinner and softer than my current 15+ year old pillows. So I'm returning these pillows. I skipped the "Soft" and went straight for the "Firm" because the product images show that the "Firm" is thicker than the "Soft". So i imagined the "Firm" would be very thick pillows. But i just received the pillows today and the pillows are WAY too soft and it's not thick at all. If i push my hand into the pillow it sinks down to be really thin. On top of that, i don't know what's inside the pillow, feathers? but those feathers are all over the pillow. So i imagine the pillows are already leaking the feathers. You'd need a lint roller to clean the pillows.

We recently stayed at an Airbnb that had these pillows and have been on the hunt for them since. We finally found them after buying and returning a two other sets. I can say we are very satisfied with them. It’s the perfect amount of softness and firmness to them.

These are much better for my neck and head than foam pillows. But... They are advertised to be machine washable and dryable in your washer and dryer. By this they mean large commercial or industrial sized laundromat washing machines and dryers. If you try to wash these in your home washing machine, they get very, very heavy, 30 pounds each when soaked with water. This will cause a lot of serious mechanical stress on your washing machine during the spin cycle, possibly causing damage to your machine. After taking them out of the washer, they will be completely saturated and very, very heavy. Do NOT put them immediately into a dryer. Hang them over a metal chair or barbell pole in the garage for the rest of the day (or 2-3 days) to let as much water drain out of them before putting them into the dryer. It will then take several hours and many, many drying cycles (more than 4) to fully dry and refluff them. I have tried several methods, but for me, if I wash them on Saturday morning, they still won't be completely dry on Wednesday. And they never return to their original fluffiness. 2024 Oct Update - I've had these for about 2.5 years. I delay washing them because it is a hassle for several days to get them dry again. These have probably been washed 4-5 times. Each washing cycle further destroys the fluffiness. I will replace these with the same ones. Try not to wash them a lot. It takes a lot of life out of them. It's probably easier to just replace them. $40 for two isn't bad. During the pandemic, they were $70 for two. 2026 April Update - I have just received my fourth set ($55 for two) of these because they are better than foam. But I have given up trying to clean them. They get much too heavy in the washing machine and damage the suspension springs & rods of the machine. The pillows never return to original fluffiness after washing, just weak and lumpy. It's better to just give up, throw them away or give them to your pets, and buy a new pair. Cheers.

Pillows due not hold their shape. They are not medium/firm pillows. They are really soft.

I used to think I wanted a very soft fluffy pillow. I've bought many of varying softness. I have discovered that I was wrong. I want soft but also want support. Never understood why hotel quality is a positive description for pillows. In a hotel, I always wake up in the morning with my head on the mattress and a big puffy ball of pillow on either side of my head. These don't do that. They are soft but the softness doesn't displace. The filling is silky smooth. Fluffing these is very effective at plumping them before laying down. I've owned several Serta pillows and they generally last for 3 or more years before they need to be replaced.

Do you find yourself struggling for the perfect pillow? If you want soft yet firm sleeping on a cloud like comfort then these are for you. They arrived packaged well inside box with 2 layers of plastic protecting the pillows themselves, along with a serta card stating the details of the pillow with instructions for fluffing. I immediately opened the pillows and allowed to fluff for about 15 minutes before I couldn't help but test one out. Placed a protective cover on them and I was so shocked how comfortable these were. They are soft soft and heavy actually(can tell in video they are quite heavy) but as soon as you apply weight they bounce back right away. I don't worry they will go flat. I ordered the king size and they are true to size for my pillowcases (see video). Perfect for side sleeping since you can squish them and mold them exactly how you want it to lay. helped my neck tremendously. The only con I could think of is some people may not like the swish sounding surface of the pillows BUT you can negate this with a pillow sham or cover. The sound doesn't go thru another fabric.
