I purchased these string lights for a deck renovation project. I bought this set along with a "fancier" set that had more bells and whistles. This set was more heavy duty and just seemed like it was better quality and would last longer hanging over a deck, so I returned the other set. I've had these lights for a month plus and I've been very happy with their look and performance I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

I got this 48ft string of lights as a gift for my birthday. The cord appears very sturdy so I was impressed by the quality. Unfortunately I did not hang the string of lights right away. I tried hanging them today and found that one of the sockets did not work. As I continued to screw in the lightbulbs, one of the bulbs exploded for no reason. I'm afraid to hang this now and it's too late to return it. I am very very disappointed.UPDATE: I had to amend my review because I was contacted by the seller who understood my issue and came up with a great solution. I am so very happy with the LED lights with plastic bulbs. All the sockets work. The lights are so bright, they don't break easily or get hot. I am delighted with the new lights and so happy!!! Thank you to this #1 seller for resolving my issue.

These are fantastic! They look so nice and light up well. I experience maybe 1 bulb in 100 burn out per year and each kit came with 3-4 spare bulbs. I have used these for 3 years now and they're going strong! Hot desert Summers and snowy Winters and they endure it all!

I bought 3 sets of these. Great quality and sturdy. I part was missing but they delivered it on request. Customer service was prompt. Love it. Highly recommend.

EDIT UPDATE: A couple of the socket seems to be broken and flickering the bulbs. Changed out bulb and same issue. Contacted seller and they responded right away. Provided me a LED version that is brighter at no cost. They contacted me throughout the process.Seems pretty sturdy and well made. Good price for 75’ of light. Only issue I have is the bulb that came with it is not bright at all. I know it’s supposed to be low wattage but these bulbs don’t omit much brightness. Ended up buying all new bulbs from HD (60W intermediate base for those that need to replace).

Have these lights on stand by for Windmill palm in backyard of new house for the holidays. Used them around bushes w/ Bismarck palm in FL. Work great as long as you get Sun! Great coverage & Excellent light output, too. Happy yard!

They're black so there is no color, but I like that because at night you don't see the cord. The length was perfect for what I needed. Also I like that you could buy a second one and extend the of cord. They were easy to untangle. I stored the bulbs separately from the cord. And I suggest that when you put this away, do the same. Otherwise the lights will break. The cord is heavy or maybe I guess thick is a better word, and seems very durable. I have yet to attach a timer to it, but when summer comes I'll be putting them up at night and a timer might be a good idea.

Easy to install and put up around our hot tub. Bulbs look great too!
