It works! You can use Google Cardboard app for this. The bar code scanner thing on the instruction sheet does not work with Google Cardboard but you don't have to have it. It works without it. The only thing I was not fond of was the fact that I don't "feel" as I'm IN the world. You can see the black on the sides and the bottom, so it doesn't feel as real but for an 11 year old, I think it works. I'm happy with it nonetheless.

I must say, I absolutely love the Turbot VR glasses! Being that these are my very first pair of VR glasses I've owned, these are very easy to use. I'm not a techy in any way, but I didn't have any difficulty setting it up for use. The clarity is awesome. You really do feel like you're there. And the 3D??!! Amazing! Just like the theater. Maybe even better! My 2 year old daughter loved the 3D and 360 degree feature. I played a video of fishes under water from youtube, connected my Iphone to the Turbot VR Virtual Reality Glasses, and she was amazed! It kept her busy while I did house work :) Even my husband loves it. I've had these for a week now and since day 1 of having them, he's been watching movies on it every night! You don't really need special apps to use it so you will be saving money. Unlike other VR glasses that will require you to puchase additional apps just to be able to use the features after you've spent over $100 on the glasses itself. So I've gotta say, I would definitely recommend the Turbot VR Virtual Reality Glasses to anyone. You don't have to spend over a $100 for a pair of VR glasses. These are very inexpensive but great quality. It would totally be a great buy! I would spend my money on this any day! This headset works exceptionally well and is comfortable to wear! I bought one for my brother and he loves it. He especially likes watching 3D movies. This headset is one of the best I have used and works great with my iPhone.

This headset is compatible with videos and games designed for Google Cardboard. The weight is light. Three adjustable elastic traps are easy to adjust and this device is comfortable to wear. I even can wear my regular glass. It also has a very comfortable padding around where the headset meets your face. Lenses are adjustable for focus distance as well as sliding adjustments for pupil distance. The adapter has a clamp with foam pad to keep phone in place tightly. With a magnetic attachment mode, it is easy to mount and release my phone and it fits my 6 inches device with a case on it. The VR experience is impressed and joyful. Once I adjusted to the correct viewing setting, I got very good clear images and the immersion felling is intense and real. There are many free VR applications and games available. We have watched movies, clips, and played games and provides us with hours of fun and family time. The ventilation holes are important and help heat dissipation during the phone in use.The only drawback like other VR headsets is no access to control my phone. A bluetooth remote will make it more useful. I received this product at no charge for my honest and unbiased review.
