Great product last long time

The ratchets work fine but I found the handles to be too small to get a good grip on. In addition, the release is a little tight requiring more pulling than they should. They're OK for a lightweight 1" strap. I gave them only 4 stars because they didn't include instructions on the proper way to thread & release the straps. Sounds funny but there is a right & wrong way, just check out the internet. If you thread it the wrong way it jams . It's very hard to get them unjammed and many throw the unit away. The 1700 lbs listed is the break limit. The working limit is a little over 500 lbs.

I am super happy with my purchase. I thought the product was great! If you do very much strapping down you'll know the retaining clips on the hooks are a must. The straps are well built and very good quality. I figured the strap carry case would be flimsy junk to be thrown away but I was pleasantly surprised to be very wrong, the carry case is good quality plastic and seems to be heavy enough to probably last the life of the straps. I am going to order some more sets! These are great! And I received them quite quickly also! Thank you.

Although the straps arrived in a timely manner and was packaged nicely, every single one of the straps failed. All four of the ratchets twisted and snapped all at different times so there was not one event single event that caused the failure but rather pressure over time caused the metal in the ratchet portion to twist and ultimately malfunction. I know I was well within the working load limit of the straps as I have used much lesser straps for the same job for years with no issues. In fact, I bumped up to this product as I thought they would be superior with a higher load limit. This could have been a real hazard if I would have needed to stop quickly or did not see the issue in time as the load may could have went flying into traffic. I have seen a lot of straps snap over time due to breakdown in the nylon but never fail in this way in the ratchet portion itself and within the first couple times of use. I cannot recommend this to anyone simply out of safety concerns. It is almost as if there was an error in the production such as lesser steel being used as every ratchet failed the same way as I cannot imagine this was the design intent. Or at least I hope not. Overall, these were a huge waste of money but more importantly if someone inexperienced used these straps something truly bad could have happened.

This is my third ratchet tie down straps set. And I can say that this is the best among what I’ve had. Usually, I use it to move my bike in a van. They do an excellent job with this task. Especially I liked that this set has a soft loops, it is really useful to fix my bike. I like that there is a possibility to fold belts easily and store it in a case, so it won’t be all loose in my van. Great product and just the right size needed.In conclusion, I highly recommend this product because it is a high quality and easy to use.

I love these straps. They hook onto the inside of my trucks so I can strap my kayaks down and it’s great. My first set and probably last set ever. Even comes with a box which was why I bought them in the first place. The hooks are extremely nice and strong. I’ve always seen my boyfriend use it and was always hesitant bc it looked complicated but I got my own set, and with a help of YouTube, figured it out in 2 minutes! And now I love it!

This item was purchased to hold a motorcycle on a trailer and the loops were really needed so it seemed to be a plus to get some tie downs at the same time although the tie downs and material seem to be made a little less quality than what you'd expect for this price period it appears as though these are very inexpensive items that are just in a nice case. I do not trust them for a very long ride and I did have to go out and inspect them numerous times just to make sure nothing bent. I can't say that I wouldn't buy them I just would not expect as much for them.

Excellent ratchet tie down straps. Recently my family and I moved into our new house, we were looking forward to. We have a small truck, on which we transported almost all the furniture. I needed the straps to secure the furniture. I was afraid that these belts will be short, to fasten the all the furniture, but I was wrong, the straps were long enough and in a couple of walker I managed to carry all our furniture. I am glad that there is a storage box where you can lay down their straps, so they are not scattered all over the car.
