Meh. Don't prevent creams from leaking.
I love the idea. I looked long and hard at all my options for small pots to carry hair products in. Preparations that use just a pea-size amount after washing my hair. For travel, need only a few uses away from home, and I'd hoped leave-in conditioners which are as heavy as lotion wouldn't leak. Unfortunately, they *did* leak. Fortunately, I'd wrapped each pot in a fold-top sandwich bag, twisted, to keep leakage from making a mess. Sucks to forfeit an application or two or three because silicone is too flexible to keep its cap on. Almost like the design needs a firmer plastic cap and a firmer plastic rim like the squeeze bottles made from silicone do.UPDATE: Do NOT leave product in these containers, expecting it to be usable later on. Everything I put in these dried out over time, leaving a sticky, thick mess. Clean out when you get home!

Caps snap off
I got these because I recently lost the similar ones that were a bigger size. Since the bigger ones ended up being bigger than I needed, I got these smaller ones thinking the cap would be the same twist-on style that is secure for travel. When I got them I was disappointed to find that these caps are snap on, snap off, not twist/screw on. So as a result, I worry about them snapping off in my bag. So far no accidents but I haven't taking them on a flight yet so I don't know if the pressure changes would result in a leak, but I can say it is much less secure and I would not consider these leak proof.Seems too small of an item to return, but if I were doing it over again, I'd get the bigger size since it has the screw on cap. It doesn't make sense to me that the two sizes would have different cap types.

NOT GOOD FOR MAKEUP
If purchasing as a travel container for cream/liquid foundation makeup, do not. The container changed the efficacy of my makeup rendering it unusable. The foundation separated and became hardened. It is my best guess the silicone is not a good container for makeup. I will continueto use hard plastic containers.

It would be great for storing vitamins
I filled one of the little containers with facial cream but every time I put the lid on a little bit of the cream came out where the lid and base meet. I have no idea how other people used these for creams. I didn't fill it to the top so I know that is not the problem. I would have to put it in a baggie if I wanted to use it for travel. It would be great for storing vitamins.

Product squishes out the sides
I used these for air travel. I filled them with creams like face wash and lotions. The bottles cannot be filled very full as the inside of the cap pushes out the product. Secondly, because they are silicone, any pressure from other objects can squish the product out the sides of the lid. I would suggest only using these for things like pills. There are other silicone containers with screw on lids that work much better for thicker liquids.

Soft, light and useful
I carry pills that I might need -- against headaches, against other pains. Just in case. The container does not take up much space in my purse, it does not weigh much, and it is soft to the touch -- a plus when one is digging for stuff in one's purse.

NOT "LEAK-PROOF"
These are not "LEAK-PROOF" The seller's description stated very clearly, "leak-proof design". That is not true. These are a flexible silicone, so when slightly squished, as they would be in a carry-on for example, they have the potential for the lid to pop off. I've attached a photo to illustrate this for other buyers. I returned mine, because I felt this was false-advertising, and I needed something that would not easily leak. They are cute colors, which is the only redeeming factor. Don't waste your time.

Leaks!
People have written reviews that it doesn't leak. Well,,,,it depends on what you put in it. A thicker consistency, like my eye cream does not leak, but the liquid cleanser I put in sure did!
