Its a cup top, and I was expecting different, still an excellent product with no shipping issues.

I got this for home use -- I know, I'm a weirdo. I'm in deep with coffee so having something like this enables me to bring it to potlucks and get-togethers and what have you. I make pour-overs into it and it's good all day. Took me a whole hour and change to fill, but if you have a coffee machine you could easily just brew a few pots and dump in it.Of course the big question is coffee shop use, and I gotta say this is PERFECT. The straw that actually brings up the coffee isn't built into the top or a separate piece at all really... it's built into the bottom and not dead center. This means you take the lid off and just brew straight into it without fumbling around with a straw. Of course you can still remove it for cleaning. The press feels good and as you'd expect it to, and you can lock it! Which is cool. This really simplifies the whole process. Coffee stays warm for easily 2+ hours, and the finish on it looks really professional.

Bought this for Christmas to use on ski trip for a bunch of kids I take on the mountain each friday. I used it for the first time last week when it was my turn to bring hot chocolate. Loaded it up in my truck and put the dispenser in a rubber bin in the bed of my truck just in case in wasn't leak proof. Unfortunately, it leaked everywhere!!!! If you tip the dispenser over to its side the liquid runs out everywhere. On top of that the hot chocolate tasted terrible coming out of dispenser. I made the hot chocolate at home in a pot and it tasted fine but after being in dispenser for a couple hours it had a terrible taste and smell. I brought the dispenser home and cleaned it with boiling water and vinegar and a few drops of bleach three times. Hoping the bad taste will go away. This was a pricey dispenser and not worth the money spent.

This airpot kept my hot apple cider blazing hot for the 10 hours I had it in there. It was so hot when I opened it up to pour the rest into a pitcher, that I had to let it cool for a while! Before using, I did put boiling water in it for about 30 minutes. The push button on top was easy to push and dispensed a nice amount of liquid at a time. This was a great purchase, and if I need another one in the future, this is the one I'll choose.

Damaged (broken top) in transit apparently due to poor packing by both the manufacturer and Amazon. Received a swift refund from Amazon. It looked like exactly what we wanted but we're leery of ordering another one.

We use this airpot every single day for double strength hot tea. Keeps it fresh and hot, very easy to use and has a nice sized opening for easy cleaning!

Was looking forward to using this on out next hiking trip this coming weekend. I figure I should test it out and look for any signs of leakage. Unfortunately, there are two leaks, one from the thermos cap and the other from the thermos itself.I really want to like this item, but it's obviously poorly made. I will be returning this!

It's a good size (better than the 64 ouncer I had before.) I use it for protein shakes which I make in the morning and eat for lunch
