I did also buy an OBD2 splitter so I can use a reader at the same time, and so that if I unplug this RA003 frequently I am not wearing out the factory connection. This completely takes care of the awkward transmission shifts, clunks in the driveshaft when AFM activates, and gives some peace of mind that the cam phasers aren’t going to malfunction in 4 cylinder mode.
