- The Booster additive (a powder mixed into the liquid treatment) is the world's only protein enzyme that breaks down and deactivates DHT on the scalp; thus rendering the molecule harmless. DHT build up in the follicle is the medically recognized cause of hair loss. - To review, a single Kevis 8 application vial comes in two parts. In the vial is a water based solution that contains all natural ingredients that stimulate blood flow and nourishes the hair follicle.
