Great for my curly hair

Great oil for my curls.They were left shiny and defined.I don't think the smell is overpowering despite some reviews.I quite like the smell to be honest.

This review is for curlsmith bonding oil, priced at £24 at time of review.The packaging and the bottle is quite simple but very elegant, paired with the glass bottle it feels very premium and reflects the price.I've used this several times on my curly hair after styling and it helps to scrunch out the crunch (SOTC) from my gel cast (curly girl method CGM).It is quite thin and I think that helps not to use too much. I use 3 pumps for my whole head of hair and it really helps SOTC and leaves my curls soft but still defined.I highly recommend.

Ok hair oil, has a nice tropical smell but I'm finding it leaves my hair a little greasy unless I use it super sparingly. Good quality brand and the bottle is secure but I'm not getting as much use out of the oil as I thought I would for my curly hair.

Smells quite nice, if a little strong for me. I dont likening as much as the weightless leave in conditioner smell.I found that the very runny consistency along with the dispenser made it difficult to use.Weighed down my 2a and 2b waves, though its supposed to be lightweight. Felt quite greasy, even though used sparingly. Won't be using again.Probably just doesn't suit my hair type.

I recently started the curly girl method and wanted something to scrunch out the crunch from a gel cast. I tried with just my hands but my hair didn't like it. It looked puffy, frizzy, and my curls didn't look defined.This oil is perfect for scrunching. There is a guide on how much to use but of course, everyone is different. For me that means I use a very small amount, not even a full pump, too scrunch out the crunch on wash day once my hair is dry. I have fine hair which is about shoulder length. High porosity and a lot of it.I also like using it on non wash days. I smooth my hands over my curls and gently rake through with about two pumps for a full head. I do this just before bed and then tie my hair up in a loose pineapple. Wake up to beautiful soft, happy curls that need minimal refreshing.I did experiment with it on wet hair but that didn't work for me. My hair looked shiny but was limp and I couldn't get the curls to hold when I used the oil on wet hair. Not the product's fault, it does say works best on dry hair. I just wanted to see what happens and thought I'd mention it.The oil smells really nice and adds shine to my hair. It looks and feels healthier since I started using it. Since you only need a little, the bottle will last a long time so it's good value for money. I'll be ordering this again when I run out!

This is really awful. I wanted it love it, but it’s heavy, greasy & has an unpleasant smell. The bottle itself leaks constantly from the pump part. I wish I’d bought olaplex instead.
