Dogs love them
My dogs love these and they keep their teeth cleaner and breath better. The only problem is sometimes they are hard to find and are expensive.

A true tooth saver!
When our beloved Fiona was 5, she had some tartar on her teeth. It looked like she was headed for being put under anesthesia and having her teeth cleaned. I wanted to avoid this, and someone recommended Check-Ups. We gave her one a day, and in about a month, all the tartar was gone. She is now 9, and still chewing one every day and her teeth are great.

The only dental chew my dog can eat
Keeps your dog's teeth clean. My dog has many diet restrictions and this is the only chew that she can eat. My only complaint is that sometimes it is not available.

Quality product, great value
My pup is proned to plaque buildup and has tricky pockets in his back teeth that certainly don't help. My vet recommended trying a daily dental routine as opposed to potentially twice yearly dental cleanings by her. I didn't want to have my boy put under that often, it's so risky and stressful for him. Despite my best efforts, he is not a willing participant in teeth brushing. I decided to explore other options, trying several brands/types of dental treats and chews, and these are my absolute favorite. I found a quality product for a great price compared to several more expensive/cutesy brands, and these really work! The vet is pleased with my boy's teeth, and said to keep doing what we are doing. These are helping extend the time between dental cleanings, which means less stress on my boy. An added perk: that means less stress on my wallet, too! Plus, he really likes them. He can hardly wait for his morning dental treat! Normally he likes to sniff around a bit out in the yard and run around, but his first potty break of the day is always a fast one now. He comes back in the house and heads right for the cabinet where his dental chews are kept. These are now a staple in his daily routine.

My dog LOVES these
These chewys are the highlight of my dogs day. He loves them. As for dental cleaning- I’m not sure, I think they help some. I think they are overpriced- a lot- but because my pooch looks forward to them so much I will indulge him. But the cost is high fir what you get.

excellent bedtime treat & helpful for our dog's hygiene
It is the same composition as the Brite Bites, just without colored flavor chrystals....unable to get Brite Bites anymore(quit manufacturing them) but found about Checkups when I called the company directly. They are not easily consumed by your pet and have a gritty texture to help with plaque and gums. They come in one size but there is a crease where it can be broken in half for consumption by dogs under 20#

better than greenies
i have two german shepherd dogs, and one of them really hates having me clean her teeth. i had been looking for a cheaper alternative to greenies and came across these. they are, in fact, hardly any cheaper at all. but they are seemingly more exciting for my dogs, and take a bit longer for the dogs to crunch up. so i have decided to go for them.they have the VOHC seal of approval for the prevention of both plaque and tartar, which is important -- without that, one might be buying something that is just a treat, not a dental cleaner.i wish they were not so expensive, but they will do.
