I have order these twice for $33.00 and I keep getting only one. Is it not suppose to be a box of 12?

YES you are suppose to get 12 markers in a box. They are not 33.00 each

Is this a box of twelve markers or one single marker?

There are 12 ea in a box and the order unit is box.

Anyone use these on ear tags?

No, we use them on metal at our shop. They work really well on writing on dirty or clean steal, but we've never tried them on other materials.
