Face Foam Replacement Lunies Face Cover Compatible for HTC Vive VR Headset PU Leather 10mm Black

This is a great cover for the money, and it takes away the unpleasant "sweat-soaked" feeling of the stock foam pads you get with the Vive. If you're like me, you play in VR for about 40-50 minutes and then take a quick break. That often means coming back to a wet, cold foam cover that is very unpleasant to wear. I like this replacement because I can wipe it with a sanitizing wipe or a paper towel and be good to go whenever I like without any unpleasant cold sweat left over hitting my face.I would recommend this as a very worthwhile investment if you plan to play on your Vive for a long period of time or many periods within a short time.

The foam replacement is far more comfortable than the original that comes with it. The original foam feels gross to me now, and I like that this particular replacement DOESN'T have tiny holes because those are just little sweat and bacteria pockets. It's very easy to clean.Bear in mind that currently the product title says 6mm but it's actually 10mm, and that is actually the perfect thickness if you or anyone else wears glasses while playing because 6mm is simply incompatible with glasses.

After using the HTC Vice with the stock foam, among several other users, I decided it just wasn't hygienic to keep using it like that, it never felt clean, even after washing it. This works great, and doesn't retain odors! Just wipe and go!

The quality of this product is fine, but I recommend a thicker pad. I was expecting an improved fov, but I really did not notice any difference. Also, the comfort with this went significantly down. The vive is a brick on the front of your face, and this thin pad really isn't much different than just the hard plastic itself. It was not comfortable on cheeks or forehead for extended play.

I ordered this one and a few 12mm foam leather face thingies from MIDWEC. So far this 10mm seems to be the sweet spot my field of view seems slightly improved and now I kind of regret ordering the 12mm covers, which I purchased in case I was discontent with these. I haven't tried the MIDWEC because this one has been perfect so far. I considered removing a star because of the poor packaging though, but the foam worked out so well I decided not to.

This replacement foam is great. The standard pad absorbs sweat and is very unsanitary, especially when taking turns using the HDM with family and friends. This pad is covered in vinyl and can be wiped clean between users. It is slightly larger than the HMD mounting surface, but that doesn't affect function or comfort (it is probably more comfortable than the stock pad).

Very happy with this. I prefer the feel to the stock foam. Now i will be able to clean the sweat off for myself or other players.

It's pretty thin keeping the FOV good. Not quite as comfortable as the original foam that came with the Vive, but I've never felt like I couldn't keep playing because of it. It is also much cleaner (which was my reason for purchasing it). Very easy to install. Just pulled off the original and stuck this one on instead. I'm very happy with it!
