The product description says 13" ... no part of this is close to 13", but that is Amazon, not the manufacturer's fault. I bought these to keep our fireplace doors closed so that our toddler cannot open them. The space between the handles on the doors is about 10". One by itself was too short, but I was able to interlock two to span that distance. They are not the easiest thing to put on or release, but for the price they do a good job.

My cabinets knobs were too far apart unfortunately and it doesn't tighten down very hard on the one that is close enough. My cat has learned how to open the cabinets and until he realizes he can longer get in we have to listen to bang..bangbang...bangbangHe'll get it eventually though.

These are great- especially for the price! They work on both my cabinets with knobs and those with handles. They are easy to use and seem to be of good quality. I almost went with a different brand that was more expensive, but I'm so glad I chose these.

Was so excited to finally find some locks that were long enough to accommodate my safety needs! But alas.... They are definitely not 13" like advertised. Would return, but it's not worth the hassle. They work great for standard sized cabinets, however I could've paid much less for the same size. Will not be buying from this manufacturer again.

Simple and easy to use

I was hoping these were a little better than the ones you can buy in the store and I think they are. The slide slides very nicely. I use it for when my grand kids come.

Easy to use on knob door handles on cabinets not useful On drawers.

Fine quality. But the problem is that you need two hands to operate it and when it’s open you have to lay down one of the pieces. Just too difficult.
