It catches lots of oil. On my second purchase this year (Dec-2023) it came with a better sturdy package. Quality is excellent and catches lots of oil coming from the crankcase.

A: I change mine at 10000 milesAlso I have it set up on X5 35d diesel so I have 3 small holes drilled in top of filter just so it does not build up extra crank case pressure.. provent has worked well with no issues in my x5
