Review: I was nervous, but it lived up to the hype! - I hated doing the litterbox more than anything else - I'd change poop explosion diaper first, honestly. This litter has changed my LIFE. Pros: - NO CAT SMELL. We had guests that literally commented on this. NOTHING. Occasionally there will be a poop smell (my cat isn't always great at burying poop), but it goes away within minutes. AMAZING. SO AMAZING. - Crystals very effectively absorb urine, most of the time. I stir it every night (takes 5 min or less) and scoop the poop out, and sometimes there are still wet crystals, but a quick stir fixes it immediately. - Less tracking. My cat still tracks it out, but NOTHING compared to previously with clay litter. I have a litter catcher pad right outside the litterbox, and this catches most of it. Cons: - Dust. There's a lot when you first pour it in, then none for two weeks, then dust again when I do the nightly stir. I wear a mask, problem solved. My cat does not seem to create the same dust when she uses it after the two week mark though, or isn't bothered if she does. - My cat is a digger, and one bag was so, so not enough. I buy two bags, and in my large box, I get about a 3-4" depth. More expensive, but WORTH. IT. - Even with two bags, it only lasts a month before my cat turns up her nose at it and the crystals stop being effective at absorbing urine. This might have to do with my cat, as she was previously feral and will pee very few times a day - meaning when she does pee, it's a LOT. The crystals may not be able to absorb such a large volume at once after 4 weeks. Annoying, but I don't even care because of the pros of this litter. My cat switched to this litter all at once with no issues, but since she was at one point feral, I don't think she's terribly picky as long as she can dig in it. I highly recommend this litter, especially if you want all the good parts of having a cat, but not the horrific, classic litterbox smell.
Review: Zero smell, cost-efficient, doesn't stick to feet or track around the house - This is more cost-efficient than clay cat litter by far, and I cannot smell a thing from the cat box. Also, it doesn't stick to my cat's feet like clay does and thus doesn't get tracked around the house like clay litter. A grain or two can get caught between my cat's toes and get flicked on the floor as she's stepping out of the litter pan, but that's it. The sharp glass-like silica crystals ARE as sharp as legos so I recommend to sweep regularly around the pan or wear house slides. Usage advice: You can visibly see the crystals that have absorbed a lot of waste, and I economize by scooping out the untouched crystals and topping up the pan with them after I dump out the waste. I find that liquid waste tends to filter down to the bottom of the box and form a layer underneath the less-soiled crystals, so keep an eye out for that. Be sure and wear a mask that filters well and seals well to your face when you're pouring it if you are at all sensitive to dust. I personally find breathing it in to be irritating to my nose and throat and sinuses. To my understanding, it's far too small of an exposure to cause health damage just breathing in the dust a little bit as your change the litter box every week or every other week, but I just find it unpleasant. It's unavoidable to have a fine powder of silica dust amongst the larger grains, so it's not an issue of false advertising or anything, just the nature of the material itself. If you have asthma, be cautious, and it's worth pouring it into the litter pan outside if you can. Overall evaluation -- if you have a cat and you're not using this type of litter product, you're doing your nose and your wallet a disservice.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I was nervous, but it lived up to the hype!

I hated doing the litterbox more than anything else - I'd change poop explosion diaper first, honestly. This litter has changed my LIFE. Pros: - NO CAT SMELL. We had guests that literally commented on this. NOTHING. Occasionally there will be a poop smell (my cat isn't always great at burying poop), but it goes away within minutes. AMAZING. SO AMAZING. - Crystals very effectively absorb urine, most of the time. I stir it every night (takes 5 min or less) and scoop the poop out, and sometimes there are still wet crystals, but a quick stir fixes it immediately. - Less tracking. My cat still tracks it out, but NOTHING compared to previously with clay litter. I have a litter catcher pad right outside the litterbox, and this catches most of it. Cons: - Dust. There's a lot when you first pour it in, then none for two weeks, then dust again when I do the nightly stir. I wear a mask, problem solved. My cat does not seem to create the same dust when she uses it after the two week mark though, or isn't bothered if she does. - My cat is a digger, and one bag was so, so not enough. I buy two bags, and in my large box, I get about a 3-4" depth. More expensive, but WORTH. This is more cost-efficient than clay cat litter by far, and I cannot smell a thing from the cat box. Also, it doesn't stick to my cat's feet like clay does and thus doesn't get tracked around the house like clay litter. A grain or two can get caught between my cat's toes and get flicked on the floor as she's stepping out of the litter pan, but that's it. The sharp glass-like silica crystals ARE as sharp as legos so I recommend to sweep regularly around the pan or wear house slides. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight, affordable, good for low-maintenance cat owners

I currently have two cats and was tired of using/cleaning heavy clay litter, so I thought I’d give these crystals a try. Initially I bought the regular-shaped crystals package from this company, but they were a bit sharp on my bare feet when my cats tracked it around, so next I tried the pearl shaped crystals. They’re easier on the feet if stepped on, but they’re still not as smooth/“pearl-like” as I would have hoped. The vacuum does an OK job of picking it up however I would have preferred if the crystals were smaller/finer. I do love the light weight of the packaging, though I’d prefer a larger amount per bag. I use one package per litter box. The dust content seems very low which is nice. The absorbency is fairly good, and the litter lasts about a month even with two cats using the litter boxes. This litter however does not do much to combat the bad smells of the litter box, even when the poo is fully buried some of the smell still finds its way out from under the crystals. Cleanup is quick and easy, and not much of it sticks to the bottom of the litter box making it easy to scrape out the last of the crystals that have absorbed the most liquid. Overall it’s a solid litter for people who prefer something affordable, lightweight, low-dust and low maintenance. But might not be effective enough for those who want to hide the bad smells of the litter box.
